They got them their shots, told me what dog food they recommend for my babies needs. The staff was very patient with Sawyer. He was very scared but he was like that when we got him. And they made him feel safe. Sawyer is very sensitive and scared of everything and he’s a big puppy. I’ve never had a dog like him before and the staff handle him like he was a new born baby lol I loved it!

Banfield and their monthly plans are the best value for veterinary care service your pet can have. Your vaccinations are included, and monthly preventatives can be added as well. You get unlimited fee free appointments, discounts on medication, treatment, and diagnostic services, and even at some emergency clinics outside of banfield. They also give you referrals for specialists.
Banfield is so helpful that I've never had to take my dog to an emergency care clinic because if there is no availability at your usual clinic, they will help you find a banfield in your vacinity that does. This ability to get you seen immediately has saved my dogs life on one occasion, and is almost impossible to insure and provide with a private single location clinic.
In Colorado an emergency surgery was needed and they saved my dog, as well as thousands of dollars on the surgery from discounts I recieved due to being a monthly plan member.
My dog has always been able to be seen promptly, if not immediately in Texas, Colorado, Minnesota, and I'm sure this is the case throughout the country.
While I've liked some clinics and their staff more than others, I've never been unhappy with the service or attentiveness that has been provided at any location, and again humble is one of the best.

My rescue received a young, male Doberman several years ago who had no manners and no boundaries. I needed a trainer and Jose was referred to me by another rescue of whom worked with him on several of their dogs.
All I can say was my first experience with Semper Amici did not disappoint. Jose worked with our Doberman for several weeks as a board and train and the results spoke for themselves as he was quickly adopted out and his new owners gave rave reviews of how well mannered and responsive he was.
Fast forward several years later - I decided to keep, for one of my personal dogs, a young, female Rottweiler that my rescue had taken in several weeks prior. Since we spend half the year in another state where our home includes multiple acres of property and a ton of wildlife, I needed “Meka” to have excellent recall, to “stay” when told and to control her impulses. I met with Jose and expressed these needs regarding what was absolutely necessary with her behavior. Meka spent three weeks with the team at Semper Amici. Since she was a “rescue” dog I had concerns about leaving her that long but trusted Jose. At my first “visit” with Meka, she was completely at ease with the team and very happy. I was really put at ease after that initial meeting.
Meka is now living in the country and I couldn’t be happier with how well she is doing. Her recall is spot on as well as the other skills and commands that she (we) were taught :)

The 4 stars because I was a little disappointed in the cost. There was extra charges that weren’t explained to me from the get go. I was thinking I owed $25 but it was $49. I was charged $125 that included peak season rate which I wasn’t told & extra cost if not picked up after 2pm.
I was just told $51 a night and one night free since Buddy was new. I paid a deposit of $25, as well.
I don’t remember being told this while I was booking.
Overall, just glad my Buddy was taking care of!

Pet Paradise Houston Will Clayton
7117 Will Clayton Pkwy, HumbleOur first dog boarding experience at Pet Paradise was a good one. It was the longest we have ever boarded our dogs while on vacation. We liked that we could watch them on the cameras, the staff was friendly and attentive to our needs, concerns, and calls while we were gone. Dogs were well taken care of and the after hours pick up made it that much better. I am more comfortable with Pet places that have 24 hour staff. Many dont anymore and you continue to hear horror stories about things that happen. (Example; Georgetown TX resort that burned down at night in 21') So being that this place has more of a 24-hour presence will be our forever boarding place. Competition around town does not offer the late after hours. We will be back. Thank you again.

While we were traveling he sent videos & gave us reports on all her progress which was very reassuring . When we got home he spent time showing us how to work with her. She is doing so good and we are very happy we found him and trusted him to train her.

The staff was so sweet and attentive at drop off. When we picked our dogs up and brought them home they were tired but happy. They didn’t exhibit any signs of stress. Can’t wait to bring them back for regular daycare and boarding!

Dog's Day Inn Pet Resort
5123 Atascocita Road, HumbleI have been using Dogs Day Inn for quite a few years now. My dogs are always happy going there and coming home. I am happy with the care they receive. However, I do have a complaint about food cans disappearing. I always leave a very clear printout of their feeding schedules, including amounts to be fed to them. This last visit they were there for 6 days. Every day, between the 3 of them they should be fed 2.5 cans. I tend to leave extra and in this case there should have been 10 cans left.
There was nothing left. According to staff they ate everything. This means that they were grossly overfed and that instructions were not followed. I am obviously not happy about that and worry about the staffs ability to follow instructions.

5131 Atascocita Road, HumbleHands down, the best funnel cakes!!! I love that they cook to order, so it was warm and Delicious! I’m boring, so I always get the Sugar Mama mini Funnel Cake. But my fam tried the Salted Caramel Cheesecake and the Strawberry Princess. 10/10. Also, don’t skip the speciality lemonades. This time I tried the Honeydew Melon Lemonade. Amazing! I cannot wait to try the White Peach Lemonade. I wished I lived closer! If you ever get a chance, do not miss the opportunity to grab one or two.
On the plus side, the Customer Service is top tier!
