The Hilton Houston Westchase offers a mixed experience for guests. Many find the rooms to be clean, comfortable, spacious, and quiet, with pleasant and helpful front desk personnel. Some guests are impressed and would definitely return, citing good customer service and feeling their vehicle is safe with secured parking. However, several reviews note significant drawbacks. The property is widely described as very dated, old, and in need of an update, repair, and freshening up. Specific complaints include subpar bathrooms with maintenance issues like rust, mold, mildew, and broken fixtures. Service inconsistencies are mentioned, with some staff noted as not very welcoming or friendly, and basic amenities like working room phones or sufficient towels sometimes lacking. The executive lounge remains closed. While some enjoy the on-site Rio Ranch Restaurant for its great food and impeccable service, overall the hotel is a great disappointment for some, particularly loyal members, and may not be a first choice for rebooking.
The restaurant, Rio Ranch, was very nice. I ate at the bar where the bartender, Lalo, was exceptionally knowledgeable and professional. Because of his demeanor, I will be returning on a regular basis. Thank you , again, Lalo, for everything.

The location is close to China town and galleria. The breakfast was good.

I have stayed here for several weeks this year and it has been great every time. No issues whatsoever. I will continue to stay here when I come to Houston.
