Hours: Volunteer Houston connects individuals, groups and companies with nonprofit agencies to transform our community for good through volunteerism by offering a free web-based portal for nonprofits, schools, government offices and volunteers to autonomously post and respond to volunteer opportunities. We serve 13 counties in the Gulf Coast region of Texas as the central hub for volunteerism. We also offer local programming for volunteers, training and networking for nonprofit leaders, and corporate service projects for locally based and visiting corporate groups of all sizes. Volunteer Houston is a Points of Light affiliate and a program of the Vic Samuels Center for Volunteerism & Civic Service at Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston.
