“Affordable prices - however - be prepared to deal with a store manager that is rude. I was shopping there last night and thought I had an error on my bill (I didn’t). My cashier was very sweet - looked at my bill & called the mgr to issue a refund on something I thought had been hit twice. The manager comes up - speaks to her in Spanish - the cashier is responding in English (my language) & the manager continues to speak to her in Spanish. I don’t understand a lot - but she asked the cashier if I was lying or not telling the truth - the cashier responded (again in English) that my cart was right there as evidence. The mgr continued to speak in Spanish. Then turned to me and spoke perfect English. All I can say is HOW RUDE. She has NO BUSINESS being a manager if she is going to be that condescending to customers. I KNEW she knew English because the cashier was speaking to her in English yet she continued to speak Spanish - a language I don’t understand. Great job in customer service from the cashier. She treats the customer with integrity and respect. The manager needs to go back to school for training. The cashier is more deserving of a manager position.”

Walmart shelves were mostly empty in household cleaning products, paper towels, etc. but Family Dollar had plenty. Best of all, I didn't have to do a lot of walking which happens when I go to Walmart, then my legs hurt for hours, but I'm 76+ years.”
“Brenda has great management skills. In hopes of returning a fairly new, lightly used product which didn't meet the standards advertised, we weren't able to return it ?. We didn't use the product anymore after the first time because the quality didn't seem as advertised and seemed as though broken. We wère told by her, but not initially, how we couldn't return certain products, even if they were sold to us broken, because of the "store policy". She eventually allowed us to trade the product with one of equal value, having an understanding that the policy can't benefit the company and the customer in the long run by it being enforced in it's entirety. It was a selfish, lazy and unbalanced policy that only benefited the company. She understood that people don't buy things to waste money but that they expect to obtain the advertised value from the product in which they buy.”

“I really like this store. They always have a great selection and the staff is always friendly. My only complaint is that they tend to have boxes unpacked for a while. I understand that finding laborers are tough...but for as much money as dollar tree makes, you'd think they'd have competitive wages so they keep people. That part is important. This store could be really great!!”
“This is my preferred Family Dollar in the area. They have a good selection and good sells, especially if you use their app with digital coupons. The staff are for the most part friendly. Definitely not too friendly, but certainly not rude. Sometimes when they are stocking it is annoying when you can't get to things with all the stock carts everywhere. But, overall, I like this store better than other discount stores in the area.”

“Great place met a really nice lady, a professional organizer while there, she helped me get a cart for my supplies. It seems a bit under staffed. The lady with the head piece - seemed not so friendly, as did the tons of Indian people walking and expecting you to step to the side for them, no manners at all. The guy who cashed me out had great customer service.”

“I have been visiting all of the Dollar General's in my area to see what all the hype is about. I see folks on YouTube stacking coupons and saving money.I have visited this store a couple of times. The staff is friendly and the store is a bit chaotic. The home decor aisle has rugs on the ground so it's hard to push a cart through. Other aisles are blocked by carts. It's messy. I was able to find what I was looking for, however I did notice that not all of the toys are in the toy aisle. They're at the top of the shelves across the store.I ended up doing a return after not correctly reading a receipt and the staff was helpful about it.”
