“I go out of my way to stop here. Store is always clean, staff is always nice and helpful. My only complaint is the weight I've gained from their pizza. Hunt bros pizza is good, but here it's better. Can't wait to add an extra mile to my next trip.”

“Only place in Kilgore that I will get gas. The reward points from the grocery store give me a discount at the pump and the gas runs my vehicle better. I've tried and tested it many times over the years with different makes and models. Always friendly service as well.”

“Great prices on gas. Pumps are always all working. If you like to obsessively clean your windshield like I do, their windshield squeegees are very good! If you've ever gotten a bad squeegee, you know what I'm talking about when it comes to good ones. I'm able to thoroughly clean my windshield and I never even have to come back over it with hand towels.”

“I left Peddlers pizza and boy was it a great choice. They may not have pizza but they had CUSTOMER SERVICE. I asked Nick if he could make enough plates for 6 and he said it shouldn't be a problem if i was on with different meals. I said I was good with that if it fed my guys at the rig. I could've easily gone to Whataburger or some other commercially owned business but I decided to go local and I'm glad I did. Christian dealt with the overflow while Nick did his thing. Thank you guys!!!”

“I come in every day an the brown hair girl with glasses is just as sweet as she can be. She always helps me an she always make me feel like family. She need a raise cuz theirs not many like her no more. I was in the bathroom an I heard some one yelling at her. My husband was about to be wait on by her an I think the owner or the manager was very rude to her an she didn't treat her nice. Don't run off good help like her cuz she the reason we keep coming back their. I wish I knew her name cuz I want to do some thing nice for her for Xmas.”
984 Rice Rd, Kilgore TX 75662
“I always stop here to stretch my legs, get a snack, and use the restroom. For the amount of people that stop here, it has always been clean! Although the gas station is next to the highway, I’m always surprised at the prices of items. My mother and I bought a few things and we were shocked that it was all under $5! And when traveling alone, I feel safe stopping here. Customer service on the gas station side could be better but it’s never a negative interaction.”
100 N Henderson Blvd, Kilgore TX 75662
“I came in solely for restroom then Subway attached. The restroom wasn't easily visible upon entry but the friendly cashier (Oliver) before I could even ask engaged with us and pointed us in the right direction. Oliver was so personable and bid my son and I a good night. I appreciate quick stops with friendly employees anywhere I go.”
The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

With its funny billboard ads, award-winning clean bathrooms, and branded items Buc-ee’s is hard to miss. The company wants people to actually plan to stop at Buc-ee's during road trips, not just go there as a last resort. And it's working - the chain has a huge fan base, with Facebook groups dedicated to Buc-ee's having hundreds of thousands of members.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
