“The U-joints in my truck failed and we brought my Dodge 1500 truck in for repairs. The shop was busy and we expected to have it back in a week or so. This place had my truck repaired in just one day, despite having to also replace the driveshaft, and they charged a very reasonable price. “My only complaint about this place is that they aren't open longer. It's the best spot for brunch in Longview! Whenever family or friends from out of town visit, this is the place to take them. Delicious mimosas, local coffee, and tasty cocktails. Their avocado toast is consistently amazing, and that's coming from someone who eats a ton of avocado toast. Their outdoor seating area is so cute if the weather is nice, and the inside has fun paintings on the walls that coincide well with their dishes. The service is always nice too, they can keep up with the crowds and still make you feel special. I really appreciate when they bring out water for my dog on days I eat outside. My suggestion: add more vegetarian options to your menu!”

“This place is on my way to and from work, so I tried to check it out.To get the negatives out of the way, the hours for the restaurant aren't listed on this, so it was easy to come in too late or on the wrong day of the week. It was also a little confusing finding where to sit, and to order (only because I came in while someone was on break though), and to pay. And they seem to only take cash tips, which is a shame.As for the positives, this food is worth it. I got the fish plate (three fried fish fillets, three hush puppies) with okra, and I'm very content with the taste and how filling it is. Only thing I wish is that there were more hush puppies, because they were the most pleasantly surprising part of the order.I literally could not wait to get home before finishing it. Compliments to the chefs.”

There was a bit of a wait, but it was totally worth it for this family owned and run business.The burgers were well proportioned, and just the right amount of messy. The fries and tater tots were perfectly crispy, and everything was well seasoned. They make their own seasoning salt blend, and it is delicious!I had a chance to talk with some of the family working there. “Ok, I'm from the Metroplex with family in East Texas. We wanted to eat somewhere new in Longview and saw the pictures and quality reviews of this place. Well, what I wasn't expecting was that the bistro was attached to a gas station. I thought it was a joke, but no, this shares a building with a gas station. But once we were seated, we decided to eat outside, which is in the south end of the building in former parking spots. However the view was quite nice. The bistro does a good job with the decor. It was all a little surreal, but I loved it. It's totally "East Texas" to have a bistro here. But you're not reading this for a review of the ambiance, you want to know about the food. Let me tell you, this place can compete with ANY restaurant in the DFW metroplex. It was delicious! The food options were amazing and the presentation of the food was wonderful. It was a delightful surprise. The flavors were spectacular, and the cost was reasonable. Once you extend your thoughts beyond the placement of this restaurant, and focus on the taste of the food, you will be transported to probably the best food in all of Longview, and East Texas. Well done!”
“Brookshires has really good gas, and the price for gas is great right now. Even when it's congested things move along quickly. The regulat attendant is good and friendly, but there are some at times who don't appear to know what they're doing, or they may become overwhelmed by having so many people.”

“This is a great little town gas station with friendly staff that are always willing to help.What I love is that they have some of the most off the wall item for sale in the store. You will find everything you need from snacks and drinks to crazy hats and a whole big old display of the lottery tickets LOL.The stores kept clean and even a night it is well lit. Never felt unsafe during the day or in the evening.”
