“I don’t leave reviews often but I felt the need to leave one today. So this is like the 4th or 5th time staying at this hotel and every time I walk into the lobby I’m always greeted with kindness and a smile. Not only is there Great Customer Service their rooms smell fresh and clean when you enter. NOT LIKE CIGARETTE SMOKE ?. I’m not sure of the 2 guys names but I just want to thank yall for being kind to your guest and keeping the hotel nice and clean. Oh and the lady is also very nice and welcoming. If you need extended stay or just a room for the night in this area ABV is your BEST bet.”

“The services are great, the young lady was very helpful. The rooms need a little bit more of a touch up but not because the service or the housekeepers are not doing it, but because the whole entire building needs a flare up already. It's not the fault of the housekeepers or customer service at the front desk that the building is the way it is. People think that it's their fault but it's not it's the owners who needs to step it up.”

“Stayed there for a night in April. Had some things going on in Austin but didn’t want to stay in Austin so found this place which was going to be close enough to everything we wanted to do. Close to the interstate into Austin so if you time things right traffic may not be an issue, it never was for us. Rooms were as advertised, simple and clean. The breakfast was pretty standard for hotels of this level. Will say the plus here was that they included tortillas for the option of a breakfast taco which I appreciated. Simple check in and out process. Would stay again if I am in the area. Downside being there is no hot tub only pool.”

Why are you at a 50 dollar a night hotel? What did you expect? Why were you surprised the light over the sink didnt work. Or that clearly you needed to bring in your sleeping bag.
Yes the mirror looks like it belongs in a horror flick, decayed at the edges and maybe the guy next door is a sex offender, I don't know.
The lines in the parking lot have long ago succumbed to the scrubbing of a crime scene clean up lab. But at its heart the true nature of it remains.
Its better than sleeping in your car when your broke.

I had booked through Hotels.com but there was an error on my booking, Polish? Or Paulish i don't know how to spell his name was very helpful and attentive, he helped me cancel my booking and book straight through the hotel. It is an older building but other than that everything else was great.”

“This Hampton Inn in Kyle was a 2.5-star hotel with a 5-star mentality. It was exceptionally clean, the staff members were very professional and courteous (often saying hello) and it was quiet (at least when we were there). The breakfast was typical and nothing special, but the food and dining areas were very clean and well stocked. Additionally, I had a billing issue that I wanted to address and when my family and I arrived, the GM had already taken care of it -- truly making me feel like a valued Hilton Honors member. If we ever needed to stay near the San Marcos area, this hotel would definitely be a desirable place to stay and it's also in a great location, too!”
