I had just left the vet and was told my bearded dragon might not make it but I had all good intentions on finding him a good size cage and getting him set up the way the vet had asked me to. I got to the register and was already stressed about the price . The cashier had just finished talking about how this was her 2nd job and she was tired but was making the best of it with a smile on her face. She greeted every customer in front of me with open arms and was asking if they were okay since the hurricane we had just went through. The cashier greeted me and told me she could save me some money. She said here give me your stuff I'll hold it up here for you while you go download the app. I then came back and she navigated me through everything and even saved me more money on the tank I bought. Her kindness and perfessionalism warmed my heart and really made my day. After telling her thank you over and over I asked her her name. Her name is Jennifer. Special thanks to her on helping me during a difficult time. Your kindness speaks volumes. She is an amazing employee and was truly a blessing !

100 Forest Oaks Ln, Lake JacksonI wish I could give Pecan Acres Pet Care 100 stars. The receptionist Brittaney, was able to get me onto the schedule immediately. Help answer any questions over the phone. She was very pleasant and easy to talk with. Walking in, I was greeted with warm smiles. My baby Nala is terrified of the vet. Without hesitation, our vet assistant greeted Nala and myself. Gave Nala treats and pets to help her feel more comfortable. After being seated in the exam room, within 10 min the vet ( Dr. Suazo) came in and greeted us. Even though Nala put up a fight, doctor and his vet assistant did amazing and were able to check out Nala. They treated her with care. Made her feel comfortable with treats and pets. And made me one happy mama :) I can’t express how great it feels to find a vet who won’t turn Nala away due to her breed. She is a loving, sweet dog who just needs a chance. With some encouragement of a “Happy visit” we all believe Nala will come to like the vet. I want to extend my gratitude to each and every team member apart of this vet office. Y’all are truly amazing people. Our family is happy to have found a forever home at Pecan Acres Per Care!

210 That Way, Lake JacksonThey are great with my crazy, giant dog. There is little to no wait, yet the vet always takes her time with us.
VCA never tries to upsell me anything, and will authorize prescriptions to online pet pharmacies, so I can get discounted medication for my dog.
I have had to euthanize two elderly dogs previously. Both times they were incredibly kind and patient throughout the process, and told me I made the correct decision-which helped ease my aching heart a bit.

Charo was super sweet, helpful and welcoming. I was impressed with the historical setting as well with the causal family type vibe of the restaurant. The lunch menu was great, offering an excellent variety of tasty options and all well priced. We had a quick stop for lunch prior to our visit to nearby Surfside Beach. What a great find. Clean restaurant and restrooms too. Plenty of free parking. Nice area in Lake Jackson.
