Every person who works here really cares. Tigerlily replaced my eggs because she found a crack, counted out my change, organized everything neatly, double bagged everything, and was super sweet while doing it.
The only problem with this place is that it is super crowded and parking can be difficult, but that’s probably because it’s the best grocer in all of Fort Worth.”

“Mixed feelings about ALDI. I do shop there frequently (once a week), but there’s little/no options about what’s available. It’s sort of a “you get what you get” situation, but the pricing for what is available is usually very good, which awesome if you’re living on a budget. Go check them out, milk and butter are on par or cheaper than most places, along which their peanut butter (which we eat a ton of).”
“Great grocery store. Brookshire's prime beef is the best you'll ever get. It's a big store, but not "supercenter" size... I like that. Their produce is always fresh, good selection of everything, great rewards program, fair prices. I highly recommend.”

“I do wish the produce section offered more variety with organic options but the sales and friendly staff make up for that. I’ve shipped all the grocery stores in Azle and Brookshire’s is the only one where I’m consistently met with friendly staff. It definitely gives you the “friendly small town” vibe which is becoming less and less common these days.”

“Great family owned business and a Fort Worth staple. They have a great selection of specialty nuts, dried fruits, snacks, & candy. Nuts are roasted on site. Mixes made on-site. A variety fit for your daily enjoyment and perfect for gifting. Many different sizes and packaging options. They also ship. Their toffee is some of the best I've ever had. The toasted corn is addicting. I love the new buffalo ranch flavor!! My husband loved their pecan praline- the first he's ever had. Great prices!! Friendly staff.”

“Great studying spot with delicious drinks at your fingertips. Deli and coffee shop are inside the store which was perfect for a whole day of studying. There was a group doing a flower arrangement class which I hope to come back and do one day. Super cute spot!”
“It's a commissary. Nothing special. They had nearly everything I needed. The refrigerated area for cheese was out of order and they did not have the cheese I was looking for, but I was able to locate nearly everything else at a reasonable price.”

“Cheap chicken Mondays was a hit. We did a 4 piece mango habanero chicken and 4 fried. The mango habanero was delicious and juicy. The cook said to come back the weekend for jerk foods and we will be back to taste. Never ate here before but will definitely come back for more”

“Been going to this store since we moved here in 2001. Only complaint is the fish section most times smells bad. They don't move enough fish and no one will buy smelly fish!. UPDATE-3/16/24 - Albertsons has corned beef and cabbage near the deli, are the brisket looks great.”

“My favorite place to get my dog some tasty treats! I would have never known about how great the store is had I not had some issues driving home.The store is very friendly and neighboorly. My first time there, I was driving home with my first Christmas tree but was limping my car because I was afraid the tree would fly off. I decided to pull into Turkey Mountain and ask for help. Nelson helped me tie it down better. Then, one night at 1am, I caught a flat. I was alone and didn’t want to change it by myself in a quiet and dark road. I limped the car to Turkey Mountain. Alan was there and offered to help, but I didn’t know who he was at the time and to be super safe, I said I’d come back at morning.Now, I get my dog delicious collegen bones and human-grade treats. Turkey Mountain Feed Store embraces so much about what I love about Azle. The owners love their animals and are kind/generous/helpful/caring people. Thank you!”
