βAbsolutely the best place to shop. There are so many fresh food options and you can get pretty much anything you could possibly need. They also have James Avery which is great.β
βI stopped by here in League City, for the first time since 2018, in October, 2022. Unleaded is $2.99 per gallon, with a 10 cent Kroger card discount. I still use their alternate ID phone number from well over thirty years ago. Kroger is King! They have outlasted Albertsons and Randalls in the east Harris county area. This was my go-to Kroger when I lived in L.C. in 2012, ten years ago. Not much has changed except they updated their pumps and the gas prices. Actually by not much as less for a gallon, because gas was higher ten years ago, averaging at $3.43 in Texas (2012).β
βFuel rewards thats all im saying, i spend too much in this store to save 10 cents and i pay for the boosted fuel rewards its ridiculous I won't pay next year when im sue up againβ
βIf you shop at the HEB South shore than you probably know Ms. Sheila who has been there 8 years! Ever since shopping there 8 years ago my husband and I enjoyed always seeing her. Then we had kids and they quickly became βMs. Sheilaβs babiesβ! They both always want to go grocery shopping just to see Ms. Sheila and give her a big hug at the bakery. Of course, Ms. Sheila would always make them a special cookie with colored icing or whatever they wanted. Nothing is ever too muchβ
βI've been going to this little corner store for decades, since it was owned by different people and since the current owners (my favorite) took over. Just your basic little gas station, but it always feels safe and they're always kind and treat customers with a smile. I know during major storms, the owner let people just take stuff since power was out and not everyone came back, but I always admired him for that. Just good people. And they finally started carrying my energy drink, which is what usually dictates which stores I frequent.β

βLove Circle Ks with their always innovative deals and specials. This location even had a car wash. Although the card scanner didn't work a code could be bought inside. My truck was absolutely filthy and it washed it very well on premium. Clean location, ample entries, friendly staff!!β
βThere is nothing bad to say about Buc-ee’s except that I wish this one was bigger🤣
The staff is professional, friendly and approachable. Selection is classic Buc-ee’s which is great. Convenient and easy access in and out. Of course the bathrooms are the best and the ice is the chewy kind😉β
βGreat Human Resources clean Restrooms very helpful with Directions. Got stuck in a pothole i had people stop and help out. I was out in 15min. The kindness of stopping to help me was overwhelming. βLowest gas price in town. The use of the card was funky. I don't really trust a machine that wants to hold on to my card. Even in my 1500 person town far away from civilization we have tap n go but here in the city the pump grabs your card for an extended period. What's up with that? ?β
βI just switched my pharmacy from Walgreens to HEB. Boy what a difference. My husband switched to them a long time ago, but I'm an old bird with her old ways until I could no longer take the crappie service from Walgreens. The drive thru service goes pretty fast and with great service, as does walking in. They really take interest in making sure your needs are meet unlike Walgreens.β
βConvenient location. Can't comment on what's inside, as I always pay at the pumps. My only complaint is that most weekday mornings there are a lot of landscaping trucks with trailers gassing up, sometimes partly-to-mostly blocking the way, and it makes it tough to navigate the parking lot.β

βHβEβB is my go-to grocer and 80% of the time it's delivery. So although I've had a couple of mishaps with that, this review has nothing to do with it since that is a 3rd party. As a tip if you want sushi delivered, they make it daily so it will not be available until after 10am. I wanted spicy tuna & didn't see it so I ordered the crawfish roll. It smelled & tasted fishy. Once I removed the crawfish, I really enjoyed it. It's a thumbs up for me but I'll prob not do the crawfish again.β
βThis is the only place in league city with e85 and they do not disappoint they have high quality ethonal and the food inside is good the other people are just acting like it's a 5 star restaurant it's a gas station and it's great for what it isβ

βDon't shell out too much money at convenience stores, if you can help it. Right off the highway in League City you will find this Shell station. It is perfectly located if you're heading towards Houston, not so much towards Galveston, but it still gets the job done in that case also. The gas prices are about average, and the convenience store is fine. We definitely found it to be convenient, that's for sure.β

βA couple of us were having trouble with the card reader at the pumps for our Kroger plus card. Linda came out and calmly politely explained and then demonstrated how to get it to work. When it still would not read my card she knew that I could enter my phone number and that made it work.β
