“I had surgery over at UTMB Health. I kept coming down here for an appointment recovering from surgery. We came over here to get gas since it was one of the cheaper stations and my parents did not want to deal with the road construction in front of the Texas City Buc-ee's. This location is a lot smaller than we were used to. Compared to New Braunfels, Katy, Fort Worth, and Texas City; the restrooms here were a lot smaller. The men's restroom only had two stalls, four urinals, and only two sinks. This location does not have the fudge counter or the meat counter, but it does have the brisket sandwiches, tacos and burritos, and the bakery. I just came in for some popcorn and a drink, but my parents ended up buying more than I was wanting to. I grabbed one of the egg rolls that does not get put on a roller, and it was longer than one in a Chinese takeout for $1.29. The burrito was bigger than I thought. It was okay; but it can get messy with the rice, veggies and cheese sauce. Compared to Taco Bell, this burrito would make a Taco Bell burrito a taco. The fountain drinks are cheaper compared to other gas stations that I have been to. It was $1.19 for an X-Large 44 oz. and have more of a selection including Buc-ee's branded drinks sweetened with pure cane sugar. They even have fresh tea. I live in Texarkana, and I wish we had a Buc-ee's there even if it is this size.”

“Always get gas here. One thing I don't understand is why the bucket that has the window washing stuff is not available. If they are worried about people touching it all the time they should worry about people touching the pumps. There is no difference. The pumps are not being disinfected after every use”

“I love this Grocery Store, I like that it has a lot of variety in healthy and organic foods and the employees are friendly. But on 02/05/2024 I bought a tray of sliced chicken breast and other products. After cooking the chicken, we started eating the chicken, when we made cuts in each piece, a slimy liquid came out, we threw the chicken in the trash. That they are injecting the chicken with phthalates? to make each tray heavier?”

“Love Circle Ks with their always innovative deals and specials. This location even had a car wash. Although the card scanner didn't work a code could be bought inside. My truck was absolutely filthy and it washed it very well on premium. Clean location, ample entries, friendly staff!!”

“I stopped by here in League City, for the first time since 2018, in October, 2022. Unleaded is $2.99 per gallon, with a 10 cent Kroger card discount. I still use their alternate ID phone number from well over thirty years ago. Kroger is King! They have outlasted Albertsons and Randalls in the east Harris county area. This was my go-to Kroger when I lived in L.C. in 2012, ten years ago. Not much has changed except they updated their pumps and the gas prices. Actually by not much as less for a gallon, because gas was higher ten years ago, averaging at $3.43 in Texas (2012).”

“Don't shell out too much money at convenience stores, if you can help it. Right off the highway in League City you will find this Shell station. It is perfectly located if you're heading towards Houston, not so much towards Galveston, but it still gets the job done in that case also. The gas prices are about average, and the convenience store is fine. We definitely found it to be convenient, that's for sure.”

“If you shop at the HEB South shore than you probably know Ms. Sheila who has been there 8 years! Ever since shopping there 8 years ago my husband and I enjoyed always seeing her. Then we had kids and they quickly became “Ms. Sheila’s babies”! They both always want to go grocery shopping just to see Ms. Sheila and give her a big hug at the bakery. Of course, Ms. Sheila would always make them a special cookie with colored icing or whatever they wanted. Nothing is ever too much”
