“My fiance and I have been wanting to start painting miniatures, and he's wanted to be more involved with Warhammer, so we stopped by this shop. It was such a great experience. Josh is incredible and makes you feel welcome and is honest about the hobby and what you need to get started. We will likely be coming back for the beginner classes (and many more miniatures I'm sure.) Can't wait to get started!”
“Lot of great bargains thru the store. From DIY to seasonal products, you can find here almost everything. Store is well organized and isles are marked clearly, making easy your shopping experience. Associates are helpful and friendly. Stop by, you're going to like it.”
“The staff are welcoming and friendly from the time you walk in to the time you leave. My spouse and I went for a dnd game and had such a good time!! Their food is very good. They game an excellent selection of games, mini figs, dice, and more. We will definitely be back for other events in the future.”
“There will never be a better hobby shop like Dibble's you have the greatest people, smartest and honest group . It feels like home. They take time to help you with whatever it is you need and give you the best value. They are a San Antonio treasure.”
“Great selection of everything. I'm older, they did not care. (Some shops won't talk to any folks with gray hair.) I was greated the second I walked in. Helped me find some stuff I was needing. GREAT FRIENDLY team. They were knowledgeable too! Best shop around and I've been in hundreds.”
“What a nice store! Very tidy and well organized. I was looking for bulk Pokemon cards, but they only had a small box of dollar rares. The staff was incredibly polite, however, and pointed me to their bigger location in northern San Antonio - we'll be heading that way soon!”
“This place is amazing! First time going very helpful and friendly staff. Love that they have a space to come and work on projects and learn new skills. Love it. Will be coming back.”

“Staff are very knowledgeable, and if they do not have an item, they will try to make a special order for you.Not only that, but they recommend some places that might have what you're looking for! Great place!”
“Didn’t get any pictures, as soon as I walked in my jaw dropped to the FLOOR!! Huge building! Packed to the brim (but NOT crowded) with recent AND older figurines, comic books, manga, Pokemon cards, Yu-Gi-Oh cards, One Piece cards, and so much more!! Small selection of binders and card sleeves, as well as a corner for trading or battles,, there was so much more I’m probably missing but definitely worth the detour!!”
“Alamo Heights Coin Shop is the best coin shop in town. They gave me the best price on silver maples I was selling. The staff were friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this place if your buying or selling precious metals.”
“Surprising gem off Bandera with a fantastic selection of paints, models, warhammer, etc. Staff was friendly and not pushy at the same time. Great variety and a clearance rack for those looking to snag a deal - several choice sets at 30% markdown. It's small but don't let that throw you. We need more hobby shops like this on the northwest side.”

“Moderately priced merchandise and the employees are nice and respectful. I love shopping here with my boyfriend. He bought his first Mew slab here too. I will continue shopping here with my boyfriend.”
“They had plenty of workers on hand to help and answer questions. They were very patient with my daughter as she asked several off the wall type questions with Legos and where to get random Legos. The prices are varied anywhere from $9.99 and way up there in several hundred dollars. They have a wall of miscellaneous colors and pieces which my daughter thoroughly enjoyed. It was $9.99 for a small box, which I had no problem doing, and I think it was $19.99 for a large box(But I could be wrong on that amount. It's just what I'm remembering right now.) then they had an area where you could choose three characters for $9.99 and they had a total of five pieces so it was the body top, the legs, a head, a head top accessory like a ponytail or a certain type of hat, and an accessory like an ax or an animal or a bag, etc. overall great experience and will be back again. My daughter had me take pictures of several things that she wants for her wish list which is what I'm going to post in the photos here”
“Yes, to the bride and groom!!!! Great place to get married and celebrate one road together. CONGRATULATIONS ??? to the beautiful couple and the blended family. GREAT ATMOSPHERE ??? HIGHLY RECOMMEND”
“I recently stopped by Hobby Lobby and was reminded why it’s such a go-to spot for creative projects. Whether you’re working on home décor, seasonal decorations, or a random DIY idea that popped into your head, they pretty much have everything you need in one place.
The store was clean and well organized, which makes browsing a lot easier. I didn’t feel rushed, and it was actually enjoyable walking through the aisles and getting ideas. They carry a huge selection of craft supplies, wall art, frames, and home accents, so it’s easy to come in for one thing and leave inspired with a few more.
One of the best parts is the sales. If you catch the right week, you can get really good deals on quality items. It makes it easier to try new projects without feeling like you’re overspending.
The staff was helpful when I had a question and pointed me in the right direction quickly. Overall, it was a smooth, positive experience. If you’re into DIY projects, decorating, or just like finding unique pieces for your home, Hobby Lobby is definitely worth the stop.”
“Doug was patient and helpful; not only that, he was insightful on groups in the community and helped with general novice questions. The best part is his explanations of material without any pressure sales tactics. He just spoke with pure information—a real quality shop for any budding hobbyists and astronomers.”
“Called Mr. Al from Corpus Christi around almost closing time with an issue with my nitro car stayed on the phone with me guiding me with the issue I had was very helpful Thanks for the help”
“Has all the basic art and fibercraft supplies . If you're looking for something really specific you might run into trouble, but they're usually good. Staff is helpful as long as you can find them (seems to be an understaffing problem, not an employee problem) ?”
“George and Charlene were awesome! Super knowledgeable and help me find exactly what I was looking for at a great price! I was in and out super fast thanks to them.”
“Magnatech Slot Car Raceway is one of the last surviving electric model car (slot) raceways open to the public. There were thousands of 'commercial' slot car tracks in the USA in the late 1960's and 1970's; there were a half dozen racing centers in the greater Atlanta area alone. A lot of things caused the slot racing centers to close one by one- people not being as interested in hobbies and the rise of computer video games being a couple of reasons. In the last few years, there has been a revival of sorts with a certain amount of people who were glued to computer screens in the 1980s and 1990s playing "adventure" and "virtual reality" games, discovering it was actually more fun "playing" in 3-D. So hobbies like model railroading, R/C airplanes, and yes slot car racing have made a comeback. For a change, more new raceways have been opening in the last few years in the USA than have been closing. All that having been said- Magnatech Slot Car Raceway is one of the best-equipped and best run model car raceways in North America. Magnatech Slot Car Raceway is about people having fun and inviting their inner child to come out to play. Rental racing cars are available so that you and your buddy can pretend you are Ricky Bobby and Cal Naughton Jr. to "Shake and Bake" around their awesome 8-lane track. By the same token, children are invited for hours of family fun; Magnatech Slot Car Raceway can even arrange a memorable racing birthday party for children aged six and up. Call them for special package deals for a day of fun for any sized group. Does your company want to encourage team building? How about a team racing event? Drivers, pit crews, team leaders... miniature racing teaches the same working together for success lessons that "pro" racing instills. Call the raceway now to plan and schedule your corporate event. Stop in sometime and check it out for yourself- but keep an open mind that this is something intended to be a pre-digital age entertainment. It may not be the right sort of thing for impatient or short attention span children or adults.”
“Ordered some coins. The design and colors came out just the way I wanted. This guy really puts in the work to get exactly what you want. Thanks for all your hard work.”
“Love shopping for vintage and antique items, then be sure to stop by here. You'll be here for hours. Be sure to also stop by for some tea at their tea lounge, which they serve cold or hot. They also hold tea classes!”
“The shop was amazing & had a decent selection, mainly popular animes but still good & just below or at retail price, anyone who said it’s expensive doesn’t actually know pricing but SOME of the figures were a little pricy. I’d say it’s fair enough & the girls there were super nice & helpful when I went, two of them offered help & checked up on me a few times ^_^ that one guy was definitely a bummer though”
“Absolutely hands down the best MTG card catalog that I've seen in San Antonio. You will not find a shop locally that has a wider variety of MTG singles than Gamerz Pair a Dice. These guys know their cards well and are very well organized, usually are familiar the cards I'm asking for and are able to pull them from their stock quickly. They also offer a decent selection of MTG booster packs, sleeves and other tcg necessities. Solid group of guys, very friendly and welcoming, I highly recommend this shop for all of your tcg needs.”
“The shop is so clean, organized, and colorful that every time I walk in, I end up leaving with more things than I planned! Everything is displayed beautifully and it’s such a pleasant place to shop. I always enjoy coming here.”
“Store was clean and not cluttered. Bathroom was well maintained.
We found what we were looking for easily. The cashier was amazingly helpful and friendly!!”
“I love this place, always great information and knowledgeable about every card for sale. They know it all. Hobby boxes are so much better than retail boxes. They have packaged cards for the kids, stacks of 30 for $2.99 so you can take them and have something too. Great sales and honest about the market”
“Had the itch to get back into RC after about 20 years away. So strolled in to see some new stuff.
Great shop. One of the workers and I BS'd a bit. No pressure. Showed me the truck I was interested in. Sweet ARRMA Vorteks 4x4 brushless. Price was same as online at big shops, which surprised me. Resisted the impulse buy, despite how awesome the truck and the staff were. Gotta ponder the practicality of the purchase. That said, if impulse and opportunity end up intersecting, I'm definitely going to Alamo City HS to buy that speed demon.”
