“wanted to take the time and send this recognition for 2 partners that have completely gone out of their way to display great customer service! Both partners are out if the produce/deli department. Mike and Diana! I walked up to Mike and made, what I thought was a weird request. I asked for a smaller portion if penne pasta. He didn't dismiss me or simply said NO. he stopped what he was doing and went and asked. A very nice lady came out,Diana was her name. she explained what she could do and made it for me. I was so happy and thankful that she took the time to help me. I have visited many HEB's and by far, this location has been the cleanest, friendliest and they always have what I'm looking for! I commute from San Antonio daily to New Braunfels and this HEB is my daily stop to pick up my lunch. This HEB truly reflects what HEB says it stands for. This location is my favorite and with partners like Mike and Diana, I will only shop here! thanks Mike and Diana! Thanks for making my day and making me feel welcome!”

“I love this HEB! It is quaint and small. Everything I need is here and well organized and easy to find. Great selection of wine and beer. Bakery is kind of small but it's a small HEB so it's understandable. If I need pistachio cranberry bread, almond croissants, or cannoli the Lincoln heights store AKA (the gucci-B) isn't that far away.”
“Gasoline at a very good price. You just have to wait longer than usual with other pumps. What does seem slow to me is the pump system, it takes a long time to process the operations and deliver the ticket”

“Absolutely five stars for the Lincoln Heights Market H‑E‑B in San Antonio! I was told by several friends that H‑E‑B was a must-visit if I was in the area, and I can confidently say it did not disappoint. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how clean, organized, and well-stocked the store was. The layout is intuitive, the aisles are spacious, and everything is clearly labeled, making it easy to find exactly what you need — and a few things you didn’t know you needed!
Let’s talk about the produce department — incredible. Everything was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully displayed. You can tell they take pride in offering top-quality fruits and vegetables. The meat department, though, was truly next-level. The selection was expansive and well-curated, with knowledgeable staff ready to offer suggestions and answer any questions. I picked up some steaks that were absolutely perfect — fresh, well-marbled, and reasonably priced.
One of the absolute highlights? The H‑E‑B butter tortillas. I’d heard people rave about them, and now I get it. Warm, soft, buttery perfection. Honestly, I could eat them straight out of the bag (and I did). They’re a must-buy if you visit.
Every staff member I encountered was friendly, helpful, and seemed genuinely happy to be there, which adds to the positive shopping experience. This H‑E‑B has everything you could want from a grocery store — quality, selection, service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll absolutely be back, and I highly recommend it to anyone in the San Antonio area.”

“I came for some bread & left with a lot more than just...bread. *wink If I had to describe Central Market, I could do it in 3 words. This is the UPSCALE TRADER JOES. Maybe even Whole Foods on some level. Don't expect this to meet your expectations for your local HEB. It won't. That said, it's a classier, far more expensive supermarket...but the variety is OH MY GOD. Like other reviewers have stated, if you are looking for that ONE ingredient that seems impossible to find, you have a darn good chance at finding it here. Walking through the aisles, I could tell that Central Market carries QUALITY ingredients. There was many different "areas" depending on what you are looking for which made it easier to get what you need, but it was still nice to roam. We mainly came for their SOURDOUGH bread but unfortunately we didn't get the plain one. I LOVE that I finally found a place that carries ELLENOS yogurt (Marionberry is the best flavor, imo)...and I'll be back even if it's just for this particular item. All in all, I could spend a good two hours going from place to place in this market.”

“The pharmacy techs working always go out of their way to give the best service they can, They understand that you are in pain or sick and that is the reason you are there to pick up medication prescriptions for yourself or a family member. I was there to pick up a RX for my wife and they had one for myself when they realized I drove from Boerne they moved my RX up in the stack and filled it to save me another long trip. I would recommend this Business to anyone that needs any type of prescription service”

“I ordered to have my prescriptions delivered for free. They told me it would be about six hour wait but the delivery driver showed up about 3 1/2 hours after I called them. They're pretty quick and efficient once you receive the prescriptions you sign your signature on to his cell phone and then they leave. It's very convenient.I highly recommend using H-E-B prescription pharmacy delivery, it's great for those that are senior citizens or who is sick and can't get out of the house”

I feel like the parking lot could use more light at night but the presence of real law enforcement that patrol the parking lot makes up for this. The bakery people were attentive to my questions and the business center was friendly and helpful. I am special needs so having that kind of patience for me that was shown made being physically disabled really made the difference for me. With so many other options of where to shop or do business, this reminds me of why I choose h.e.b.”

“I love love love this pharmacy! They are always super sweet. I never have to call in to request refills because my meds are just delivered to me right as I am about to run out. I have never experienced any issues with this pharmacy and being an ex Sr. pharmacy tech, I have seen my fair share of issues when dealing with pharmacies. I have had pharmacies go as far as to lie to me about the laws in the state of Texas when it comes to medications. I never have to deal with anything like that with RX Plus. I will always recommend this pharmacy above all others!”
