Market Street at 50th St is a grocery store that offers a unique shopping experience for those who care about food, health, and new food ideas. With locations in 13 communities across Texas, it aims to be a store “where everyday meets gourmet.” Customers can find everything they need for their grocery list, including favorite specialty items, and can also plan special events with the help of experts in catering, floral, and bakery services. The store’s atmosphere is welcoming and inspiring, inviting guests to enjoy the Market Street experience. Many shoppers appreciate the friendly service and good prices. The curbside department is especially praised for being convenient and making shopping easier. The store also features a cafeteria-style area that offers fresh, inexpensive, and quick meals, perfect for busy individuals or groups. Customers enjoy the variety and quality of food, often visiting multiple times a week for lunch. However, some experiences have been less positive. One customer was uncomfortable when an employee approached her at self-checkout, criticizing her for having more than 15 items despite her quick checkout and no other customers around. This individual felt judged and uncomfortable, especially as her daughter was present. Repeated incidents with staff counting items and attitude issues have been noted, leading to feelings of disappointment. Overall, Market Street provides good service, friendly staff, and a pleasant shopping environment, with some concerns about customer service that could be improved. It remains a popular choice for grocery shopping, quick meals, and specialty items across Texas communities.
My favorite local store for my everyday needs. This store is where i buy the majority of my food and quite a bit of my household needs. It's always well stocked, clean, and the employees are helpful and friendly. My go-to store and it's close to my home.

I’m new to Lubbock & I just found my grocery store. Charles was very friendly, helpful & made me laugh the entire time. I highly recommend he gets a raise! Not a lot of people have customer service like him nowadays! Thank you for the best experience 🙌🏼

I miss my old Market Street. Remember when the shelves were full of produce and products. Now, I'm lucky to find just the staple goods on the shelf. Update: Things have gotten a little better.
