“I cannot recommend Angela at Drug Emporium enough. She works in the vitamin section and has been absolutely instrumental in my health journey. I have leukemia, and Angela has consistently helped me select vitamins that have effectively lowered my glucose levels and improved my liver enzymes. Since working with her, I've also lost about 40 pounds! Angela is incredibly kind, always has a smile on her face, and provides top-notch customer service. If she doesn't have an answer, she goes out of her way to find someone who does. She is a truly wonderful person to have in your corner. Hopefully, one day when I beat cancer, I can go back to her and let her know, and I think that it would really make her smile and do great things for her because I think that's why she does that job. My only complaint is they don't have any paper bags... an employee told me they are the icky United in Lubbock that doesn't carry paper bags... Why? hmm 🤔 And imo their produce & meat market are cheaper than any of the Market Streets. Highly recommend!”

“I have used this pharmacy for my cystic fibrosis medications for many years. They work hard to make sure I get meds on time. If there is an issue with insurance or needing to contact the Dr office they let me know right away. I recently had issues with insurance saying I needed to change pharmacies. Long story short, I tried the new pharmacy had delays upon delays and wouldn't bill insurances properly. The result was going without meds for a month. Contacted Maxor after that fiasco and they helped me investigate. I was able to go back to using them under specialty pharmacy rules, and they got my medication to me quickly. They worked really hard to get things going the way it needed too. It is also great that I can speak to a human in any department, instead of an automated system.”

“My parents who are both in their 90s shop at Market Street on 50th in Lubbock. I really wanted to send the management a nice note about how great the service is. Dad had a list of items to pick up and because they have multiple carts that he can ride in the store, he was able to shop with my assistance and get everything on his list. I was struck by how friendly and helpful all the staff were. Great customer service!!! One man offered to bring the cart to my father. Another very nice young lady followed us out to the car to return the cart. I noticed another man on a cart who purchased a lot of items and several employees helped him out to load his car. You just don't receive this great service at pretty much anywhere. Kudos to United for thinking of seniors and kudos to all the great employees who went out of their way to be helpful.”

“I have been using curbside at United 4th about 2 times a week for a year and a half. I have never had a bad experience and they always make sure everything on your list is met, as well as loading up the groceries with a smile. It is so convenient and helpful to get us through our week. Huge shout out to the curbside team. I also wanted to say a special thank you to Justin the curbside manager. He is the only reason my husband enjoys going to get groceries with me. They bond over boy stuff and it really makes my heart happy. Justin has taken time out of his busy day on so many occasions to have a quick chat and catch up with us. He knows us by name and has even helped my husband through a really dark time. “My doctor prescribed a pain medication on a Friday. This particular medication had to be mixed. The pharmacy was extremely busy but the pharmacist made sure I had the medication by the end of the day so I had it for the weekend. I know they made a special effort because they originally told me it would not be ready until Monday. When a pharmacy goes out of their way to get a prescription ready, that tells me this is a great team and I will definitely use them again.”

It’s Friday and Monday is my surgery and i need my meds.. A different location didn’t have my prescription so I call 114th and slide United pharmacy and i speak with Tristan!! I was worried i wouldn’t receive my meds in time, plus it was getting late (I have been waiting all day for the other location to call me and they did!! 615pm to say they didn’t have it!) Tristan advised me they have it in stock, give me 30 minutes!! 20 minutes later I received a text that it’s ready!! Tristan is truly an asset to The United Supermarket’s family!!!! “One of the best pharmacies I’ve had since living in Lubbock. Only downside and the reason I’m not giving a full five stars is for lack of convenience regarding not having a drive-through, but other than that the customer service is on point, speedy, and they always answer their phone unlike the other 4th St United pharmacy.
