United Supermarkets at 4th & Slide is a grocery store providing trusted quality, competitive prices, and genuine hospitality. The store offers everything from bakery and deli to meat and produce, all in one place. Many find it a nice store with very friendly staff, fresh-looking produce, and nice space between aisles to get around. The parking lot is wide open and the shelves are stocked. Some appreciate that it has actual cashiers.
However, experiences can vary. Some feel the store has a smaller footprint and a funky, musty aroma. While staff are often described as helpful and compassionate, especially in emergencies, other customers report frustrating interactions, noting employees can sometimes act like customers are in the way or be rude. One customer reported a problem with a leaking item that was not properly handled, which was disappointing. Despite some criticisms, many customers really like this location for its overall offerings and service.
I order from this bakery every month for our work celebrations, and the wonderful staff are the main reason I keep coming back. They’re always friendly, helpful, and make every order feel special. Consistently great service and delicious treats!
