“The one and only and best place. They came to town decades ago. I used them for everything because at that time they had it all! Left and moved back, wasn't easy to find them as they moved to 1488. Now it is a full on compounding pharmacy and still owed by the original owners. Great customer service and fully equipped pharmacy. If you are using anything but them you are missing out. You truly can't get any better service or advise.”

“I shop at this location at least once a week. All the employees are always kind and accurate. The bakery is the best, no droopy cakes or sloppy decor like I've seen at the others (I make cakes so I know how hard it is!) and the bakery personnel are always fast and polite. My toddlers love looking at the cakes here because they're so cute!They're often sampling good stuff and they aren't stingy with the samples either. I can't tell you how many times I've purchased something because the samples were awesome. The lady who samples the wine is always creative with great fruit to mix it with and really elevates the experience. We have also recently started using the pharmacy and they have been prompt and friendly as well. No problems so far! Of course I'll keep going back. It's a good sized store. Good quality products and less busy than other nice locations I've been to.”

“THIS PHARMACY IS A LIFESAVER! NEVER DEAL W/ A CHAIN AGAIN! So, I have an incurable brain tumor/cancer, with lots of complications, and prescribed lots of controlled and/or difficult to obtain. When I used other chains (WalG), filling my prescriptions every 28 days was a literal nightmare, caused needless panic, pain, withdrawals, and administrative failures that forced me to regularly have to pay full cash price — Since transferring ALL my prescriptions to TX Professional Pharmacy, I don’t have to worry if my medications will be ready when they’re due, no last minute “oops we forgot to order it.”, “out of stock”, “idk you so I refuse to fill your pain meds”, “our supplier says it’ll get here in 2 months”
Nope, here your prescriptions are filled, as your doctor orders, and the pharmacist will do everything in his power to ensure you don’t run out of a regular medication.
I even stopped having to personally call one doctors office every month for a refill, my pharmacist initiates the Rx renewal request to my doctor on my behalf, fills it, and I just get a notification when it’s ready!
After years of dealing with WG, it’s like I’ve finally made it out of ‘pharmacy hell’, and finally have a system/provider that just works as it should.

I cannot recommend TX Professional Pharmacy enough, ESPECIALLY if you have controlled prescriptions that you CANNOT afford to have your pharmacy screw up/delay.
(This isn’t to say he’ll fill ANY pain prescription w/o verification. He still follows all the laws and regulations, just without extra bureaucratic waste of big chain that results in prescription delays. If you’re prescriptions are legit, he just makes navigating the rules and regs easier, does some of the work/calls WG would normally make you do). Your first time, just go in and talk to the pharmacist/owner, tell him your medications and conditions, and he’ll 100% work with you if you want to switch to him.
FYI he will insist you move all your prep to his pharmacy, especially if they are schedule II, but that turned out to just make everything simpler. He synced up my prescriptions so I pick most up on one day of the month.
What’s awesome, if he doesn’t have something in stock, he can and does order what you need overnight and has it in 16-24hours.
If my doc calls something in that he has a slightly different formulation or dose of in stock, he’ll call back and see if they’ll let him use that, so you don’t have to deal with getting a whole new prescription.
If I’m in the hospital, I’ll have the doctor work with the pharmacist to ensure he’s got the right strength/dose of post-op meds in stock and ready for pickup when I get out of the hospital.
The main pharmacist is the owner, so that cuts a lot of waste and red tape. the pharmacist doesn’t have to call owner for approval for everything since that’s them.
For me, I happily drive 40 minutes to use this pharmacy.
I encourage everyone to consider this as well!

Brookshire Brothers popped up and I decided to give them a try because everyone I've known that shop there gives the store high praises... they weren't wrong. Although this was an online order Brookshire's site was easy to navigate, ordering was easy, as well as setting up delivery. The day of the event I was a bit worried since storms were moving in and out of the area and the security gate for the community wasn't the easiest to navigate. I was happy to receive email and texts of my order, which put my angst aside, and right on time by a very nice driver that went out of their way to get the order to my doorstep. I was very impressed and will definitely order from Brookshire again.”

The young lady that helped me sent .e to another store as tbey fou d out tbey didn't have enough of my .medicine she called and confirmed it for me at another location. She is awesome.”

“So nice to see a Kroger again. We don't have any in the more southern regions if Texas. Only HEB. Kroger is always very clean, the people there are very nice and the patrons are all pretty normal people unlike what we get down south. At least it's not as bad as Walmart. “This pharmacy, like most Walgreens/CVS stores, is way understaffed and the staff is swamped most of the time. Express Scripts recently had issues with one of my prescriptions and then charged way more than Walgreens for two of my husband’s. Express Scripts said I could have Walgreens call to get prescriptions transferred to them. I dreaded calling because I knew it was going to be a huge pita for an already swamped store. I was lucky that Carlos, a pharmacist, answered and said he would get it done. He was friendly and the task was completed by end of day. It is much appreciated and I’m glad people like Carlos will go the extra mile to take care of their customers.”
