“This is my go-to place to unwind and walk among beautiful plants. They have a large area for indoor plants, a large outdoor plant area for trees, bushes, shrubs, cactus, succulents and flowers. They will help you create pots and help carry dirt or pots and plants to your car. They have a nice little shop with gifts and gardening items that I love to browse in. They have a pet giant tortoise to say hello too as well as some parrots. A gem in Westlake Hills!”
“One of my favorite places in all of Austin. I work at the preschool across the street and I love going to the Natural Gardner whenever I can! It’s not just a place to buy plants. It has beautiful spots to sit down and enjoy their magical landscaping. My favorite time to go is in the spring, when their rose garden and bluebonnets are in full bloom. They also have a butterfly garden which I love to visit during the summer months.”
“Bought Palmetto St. Augustine sod for our semi shady backyard. Online ordering and scheduling was easy. Received a phone call and text morning of delivery with an ETA. Driver was fast to unload and place the pallets where I asked. Sod was in great shape. Very green and moisture in the soil. Even found earthworms that came along to now live in our yard.”

“As a landscape architect it is hard not to be able to touch/see/experience large pot(s) for clients. My client wanted the only purple planters we could find for a deck and we had so much trouble getting a wide enough mouth on a pot for the entry. We could not be more pleased with all the help,communications, dedication, and joy that all the employees from the Austin location bring. You are safe to order from afar as they will fend for you, fill the holes, and wrap them spectacularly for shipment. We could not be more pleased and would use them again many times over!! We worked with Livingston and what a helpful and communicative person - he was right there. All wonderful people in the heat of the summer. Wonderful and necessary to clone<:)”

“This is a great place to shop for plants. They cater to the professional landscaping industry, but they are happy to sell to individuals too. When you call, and you want to know if they have something in stock, they can always tell you exactly how many they have of whatever you're looking for. They have a huge selection, and the prices are usually very competitive.”
“I enjoy every visit to this garden center, it has just about whatever plant or product you want, and many you can afford! The staff are polite and generous with a chat, or heavy lifting (I need that now!) Great Outdoors is welcoming to families, and dogs on leashes. Austin owned, Austin people with jobs, so I go there and not a box store.”

“If you're a local home owner, this is your place for landscaping supplies. Get to know the people here, and they will treat you so well. They give me contractor pricing even though I'm not a contractor, as I've been completely re-do'ing my front and back yards. All the irrigation supplies I need, stone, etc. They are just so accommodating. Others should take note, as this is how customer service should be done. The lady up front is an absolute gem. And while I might not always know exactly what I need going there, they are so incredibly helpful in getting me to the best products to fit my needs. I hope that they can maintain this quality of service for years to come.”

They were able to squeeze me into their busy schedule to ensure that we had our bamboo installed prior to a backyard event at our home. She walked me through the required plant care and double checked our irrigation system's waterflow prior to setting up the watering schedule. 12/10.”

“This is a wholesale nursery for contractors only & it’s very clearly stated in the parking lot before anyone enters. I have used them for 5+ years and without question if you run a business that uses plants this place will save you money with all the same options any other nursery has. The only issue I ever had here was fixed with no hesitation by the owner. All the guys in the yard are eager to help / get you loaded and Ty or Lynn have always answered the phone to give me pricing no matter how often I call & the other lady in there is just as helpful when she’s had to be. Highly recommend & appreciate this business to business model they have, it saves me and my clients money while making us all some.”
“My team frequently uses this location for work, multiple online orders and store pickups almost every day. I would like to give a quick shout to Jeff and his team at the at the order pickup/customer service counter. They are hands down the best out of all the Home Depot locations, always helpful and always willing to listen and give insight on projects. Even the gentleman who retrieves the carts outside always has a smile on his face and a great attitude. It’s positive attitudes like this that keep me coming back.

“I came in looking for firewood, after a failed attempt at Lowe’s! I walked over to the service counter and another associate was called to meet me over by the garden center doors. Sure enough I turn around and head that way and Mel is waiting for me! He walked me right over to the firewood and he even went and got a cart for me! He was so sweet and helpful.”
“The rental center is a great feature of Home Depot that Lowe’s does not have. If you just need a expensive tool for a day or two, or even a few hours, this is the place to go. And then when the tools have enough wear and tear they sell them used at pretty good deals. They also rent trucks, large ladders, you name it.”
“This location is the only Home Depot you can go to if you want a custom rug. I tried other Home Depots but the employees had zero clue how to order one using their own custom rug service and loads of apathy. At this location, Sharon McCrary is the best. She is so knowledgeable, will follow up with you to make sure your rug is delivered on time, will go the extra mile. I can't thank her enough for her help and I hope management recognizes they have a stellar employee.”
