“I’ve been staying at the Cambria Hotel for weeks now while my house is under construction and I must say, I love it here! The staff is amazing and sweet, especially Lucero. But everyone has a ready smile and a hello for you. Rooms are clean and smell good, not like artificial cleaner. Highly recommend! Plus dog friendly!”
“Staff always goes out of their way to make my stays exceptional. Front desk is so accommodating and professional. I am treated with respect and kindness. I am greeted with a smile and kind words. I stay here often even though I have other options because of the staff treatment.”
“Clean, close to the airport. Restaurant next door. Decent location but there is a homeless camp accross the road. Not a major issue for me. But good to know in case that affects your decision. Otherwise I think this spot is a 10/10 for me.”

“Some of the reviews are very petty. If you want a 5 star experience she’ll out the 5 star price.
Room was clean, A/C cold, pool was open, breakfast was better than what I’ve paid for at pricier hotels. Service was great, very kind, the young gentleman on the cleaning staff that was off duty, helped me out getting fresh towels, thank you!
Only complaints are, Spectrum cable, definitely sucks and difficult to find correct channels. Bed is firm (but it is my preference). A little light does come from under the door but not worth crying about like some of the reviews. People do let their doors slam shut, and can be loud. Walls and ceiling seemed to be fine holding back any noise, maybe just because I had good neighbors.
In all, GREAT HOTEL for the price! I definitely will stay again.”

“Found this nice getaway spot in The Avid Hotel in Round Rock. This place is super cute and elegantly decorated. Our room is comfortable though a bit small but we're enjoying our time here. Breakfast was included and we took advantage of it. Not a whole lot to choose from but the quality is there along with coffee machines, juice and water. Breakfast sandwiches are served along with bagels and hard boiled eggs. Nicely done I must say. They are better than average gym facilities and their front desk personnel led by Tim, who is very informative, professional and courteous. The place is clean and up to date on its decor and style. Would I stay here again... A Big Yes!”

“Location was convenient. The hotel appeared to be undergoing some renovations, so perhaps some updating will improve conditions long term. The mattress was worn (could feel the springs), and the breakfast options were a bit limited. However, the room was clean and overall comfortable. The clerk at check-in was friendly and helpful. Decent value for the price.”
“This was a fantastic hotel! The room was large and very well equipped for a short or long term stay. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only bad part was that it was pouring down rain when we checked out and there was no covered place up load the car.
Overall, a wonderful experience and I will definitely be staying here again.”

“Brand new hotel, super comfortable beds, safe lite parking, walking distance to few places to eat and like 1 min drive to Kalahari Resort. They even offer discount on Kalahari day waterpark passes if you stay at this hotel. Hotel also has bar lobby with happy hour specials. My only complaint was tv cable was cutting in and out (scrambling at times) but probably just a lose cable?!?!. Loved my stay and highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Rooms: Clean, new, best comfortable beds and linens. Great blackout curtains too.
Nearby activities: KALAHARI RESORT & DELL DIAMOND and LIGHTPARK (less than 1 min from hotel)
Safety: Well lite around properly and felt safe inside and outside.
Walkability: Can walk to Pizza/Beer and Sandwich restaurants
Noteworthy details: Professional staff at check in and check out”
“First thing we saw driving down the street, homeless at corner.
Granted, they were gone the next day but it's a known area for them.
We arrived on Thursday afternoon.
At hotel the ladies where pleasant, hotel room clean, big, with some good coffee in Keurig.
There's a mini gym, pool, conservatory area, restaurant, laundry area.
In a business area but several restaurants less then 20 min away.
Warning.. you will have to pay for daily parking thru a 3rd party.
Hotel only gives you the contact info.
$13.99 a day.
Rooms: Fridge, small freezer, Keurig coffee machine, long shelf for TV your belongings & area to work. You can bring your Roku / Fire stick/ chrome stick to plug into TV because all they have is cable.
There's room service option & no smoking.
We're on 5th floor.
Ok couch & bed, kinda squeaky but comfortable.
Closet with iron board, good iron, a few baskets for your clothes, several hangers, long mirror,
Good shower area.
Ask for a bigger trash can. They have a small one with a trash/recycle.. it's a waste especially with 2 people in the room.
AC/fan good control.
Several lights.
Food & drinks: There's a small lobby convenience store.
They sell the laundry soap, sheets, some meds, TV dinners, drinks, candy, chips etc.

“Comfy hotel with reception. Free parking spots. H&B market is very close(I recommend, these markets are unique to Texas, different then other US supermarkets). Also it is near the higway and the traffic here is not so terrible as in Austin downtown(20-30mins drive there from this place). Good for business trip as well, laundry room and gym in the building. They have Also a small pool inside, but I haven't tried.
Rooms: Comfy bed, Coffee machine, mini fridge
Nearby activities: H&B market, various bars and restaurants are in the area
Safety: I Felt safe there. You migh see some homeless people, but the dont see agressive.
Walkability: No pedestiran friendly, car is crucial, but hey, this is Texas, this is their way, they use cars even for taking out a garbage bin(I saw it on my eyes many times). Anything Far then 100m, american will take a ride?
Food and drinks: Oh I love food there. Restaurants are great but the most awesome are those food truck. If you have a chance, taste the famous brisket.
Noteworthy details: Own car is a must. Great count of bars and restaurants near.”

“Had a great stay at this pet-friendly hotel. We stayed with both of our dogs. The room was very spacious and clean. I regret not asking to stay near an exit for the dog’s potty breaks. The room was equipped with shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, small kitchen, etc. The breakfast was a little different every day which I liked. The cleaning staff and the front desk man were friendly and respectful. I would definitely come back to this hotel and recommend it.
Rooms: The room was equipped with shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, small kitchen, a laundry basket, iron, TV, cups, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, plates, pans, utensils, etc.
Nearby activities: The hotel is close the the domain, museum of ice cream, museum of Illusions, a golden corral, a gas station, etc.

“I brought a school group to stay at this location…this was the best hotel experience I’ve had since Covid. The rooms were very clean AND they provided daily maid service! We used the meeting area during our stay—very accommodating experience. Breakfast was also well stocked and monitored. Upon checkout my room invoices were folded and ready for pickup. Many convenient shops and eateries within walking distance…movie theatre as well. This IHG took good care of our group. Highly recommend!”
“Very nice hotel about 25km from the city center. Employees are super friendly and helpful. Top price-performance.
Rooms: Good size with very nice bathroom. Everything clean and well maintained.”
“Timothy at the front desk was wonderful throughout our stay.
I appreciated the efforts the hotel made to be dog friendly. It would be nice to have some grass, though.
The room AC and shower weren't great, but the location was decent.”
“Unique hotel quite nice bit overpriced but almost more of a community orientation about it PS their are mints when you first enter or so they appear like them from wrapping too looks It was soap I put in my mouth that's on me but just heads up”

“I've stayed here twice in the last few months and I have to say it's a great spot to stay. The staff are always friendly and more than accommodating, the rooms are clean, the noise in the passageways are quiet, and the access to Austin is great. The first time I stayed. They allowed me to park my motorcycle under the awning and even kept am eye on it overnight for me. I've never stayed long enough to enjoy the breakfast, so I can't speak to that. If you're ever in need of a great room and are in the area, I encourage you to give them a try.
Food and drinks: Spinners bar and grill is a very easy walk of about 200 yards. They had a good burger there.”

A Joyful Stay at avid Hotel Tech Ridge – Hospitality Done Right
I have traveled overseas and stayed at luxury hotels, but sometimes you just need a place to lay your head. I traveled to Austin this weekend to see my daughter who had been in a car accident and I turned to AVID for my stay. This was my second stay at an AVID hotel, and once again, I am beyond pleased. The Tech Ridge location in Austin, Texas offered everything I needed and more: a clean, peaceful environment, cheerful decor, and a staff that made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I walked in.
The hotel itself is spotless. The color palette and design are bright, modern, and uplifting—it feels like walking into a place that wants you to feel good. And that’s exactly how I felt from Friday to Sunday.
What truly made this stay memorable, however, was Tish, the front desk clerk who greeted me with a warm smile and gracious energy each morning. During breakfast hours, the lobby filled with guests grabbing their morning bites, and Tish made it a point to walk around, engage with everyone, and spark conversation. She didn’t just do her job—she brought the space to life. The atmosphere became less like a hotel lobby and more like a community breakfast table. We laughed, chatted, and started each day with joy, thanks to her presence.
Speaking of breakfast—though I was initially unsure about the grab-and-go style, it completely won me over. The vegetarian omelette was flavorful, the bagels fresh, the coffee hot and ready, and the selection perfect for travelers like me who are mindful of health and weight. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and thoughtfully presented.
The exercise room was another highlight: quiet, clean, and just what I needed for a morning recharge. It’s rare to find a hotel gym that doesn’t feel like an afterthought, but this one was clearly maintained with care.
Every part of my stay was infused with comfort and kindness. Whether I was relaxing in my room or grabbing breakfast with other guests, I felt surrounded by a quiet kind of hospitality that’s increasingly rare these days.
To Tish and the rest of the amazing staff at AVID Hotel Tech Ridge—thank you. Your professionalism, friendliness, and warmth turned a standard hotel stay into a truly joyful experience. I will absolutely be seeking out avid hotels as I travel throughout Texas, because if this is the standard, I know I’m in good hands.
Five glowing stars from a very happy traveler.”
“Everything was above and beyond so the rate is fair. This hotel is nothing fancy very well put together not to mention, the workers all make you feel like you’re at a luxury hotel. They provide free shuttle rides to the airport by scheduling, super clean rooms, free breakfast starting around 6am, and excellent external services. If I ever need a room again in ATX, this will be my guaranteed go to. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you to the crew, all the aloft members, and management for your effortless approaches to make this the most comfortable experience. Highly recommend”

“What can I say it's Austin Texas and don't believe the hype. Toll charges even on the service roads. Guess Austin Texas needs the money ?. ?
Nearby activities: Restaurants and big Box store like Sam's Club ? I love discounts”
“The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, the beds and pillows are comfortable. The parking lot is well lit at night. This is an older hotel so don't expect anything fancy, but it's a nice place to stay in Manor right off the highway. I have stayed here several times before and will continue to do so whenever I have a need to be in Austin for work.”
