“I want to preface this. I absolutely loved the Round Rock Sun Auto location when Rob was the manager. I brought mine and my boyfriend’s car for any car services bc how great Rob was in the past 3 years living in RR/Georgetown. We moved to Georgetown so mainly use that location but they’re always super busy and hard to get in at times.
I decided to call up RR location to get a quote for new brake pads/rotors.. Kirt did not want to give me a quote bc I wasn’t sure if that was causing the grinding noise in my car but I was pretty sure it was. He told me to bring it in to look at it. Fair. I drop it off and got the report. I call to agree to the brake pads and rotors replacement and brake fluid exchange. During the call, I felt very uncomfortable because I felt like I was being up-selled and judged for not doing all of the services that was recommended. I told Kirt, just the brake pads, rotors and brake fluid. Kept getting asked “are you sure?”. At that point, I honestly didn’t even want get my car serviced there any longer but I just wanted to get my brakes done.
Imagine my surprise when I go to pick up my car and find out that an oil change was done. I NEVER agreed to this. Literally he said vs she said. Then I got a lecture about how low my oil was. I told them I didn’t want/need one at the time, I had oil at home to add before my next oil change. I am furious on how I’ve been treated. Even with all of the great experiences I’ve had with this business, I cannot say I feel comfortable coming back here any longer. I was literally talked to by men who thinks they know what is best for my car and expect me to pay the extra charges.
Update review (changed from 1 star to 4). I appreciate that Kirt reached out to me promptly and confirmed that I did not agree to the oil change. I appreciate that. Car sounds good. Brake feels good.”

Tony is a Mercedes wizard - they take care of classics and new alike and are always willing to explain what they think is needed and what can be held off which is rare in a luxury auto shop! These are true Mercedes enthusiasts and I couldn’t recommend them enough to anyone in the area!”
“After over a weeks' time of having our car in the service department at a dealership, the dealership was UNABLE to diagnose the problem. So, I had the car towed to Hulk Automotive. Best thing we could have done!! They diagnosed the problem within a day and fixed it immediately. Pricing seemed very fair and they were great to work with. We will definitely go back!!”
“So I just got done having them check my alignment. First I have to say Javier is so trustworthy, integrity like you don't see anymore. Very respectful. I had gone over a bump recently and could feel something wrong with my steering/alignment, not all the time. Javier checked it and nothing wrong. He did not strange tread wear on rear tire. Even though he found nothing, he agreed to drive it. Immediately said it looks like unbalanced tire. He's sending me to someone they work with to check my tires. A pleasant experience and nice surprise. I cannot recommend highly enough. Lime the secret mechanic everyone wants. Not sure what else they do. Side note, there was a delay for them to get there but the wait was more than worth it for my peace of mind. 10 out of 5 stars

So, when I left, my weather floormats were missing, all 4. The kind that have lips to keep water off the floor. I thought about it. Not wanting to accuse anyone. And I won't. However I do have a suggestion. When I pulled in, a bit after 9. Javier wasn't there as I explained earlier. Jose, who I think is the caretaker, suggested I wait in the waiting room. I should have waited in my car. There's signs saying not responsible for lost or stolen property. I don't think either of them took them. But there are people walking around outside. Jose from what it seemed stayed in a corner of the shop and didn't have line of sight on my car. So in the 30 or more minutes I was in the waiting room anyone could have walked through the yard and taken my floor mats. So my suggestion is this, if your car isn't being worked on just stay with your car.”

Upon explaining my issues they were able to do a diagnostic to determine the issue. They were not quick to just do what I asked and take my money. Fast, easy, fairly priced ($300 for service, $460 for parts + supplies), Oscar is knowledgeable and very friendly. They did have two pit bulls just kind of roaming the store but they were friendly too. The service came with a 1 year warranty, all around great experience!”
