“Hector and the team replaced my trans on 2013 GMC. Truck is running great, They were quick and the most affordable in town. We called several places prior and Hector beat all their prices. They were even able to beat some friends of mines shop that were giving a buddy discount already. The shop was upfront with cost and when I went to pay, thats what I paid. Not plus tax, not plus parts, nothing extra. The price I was quoted over the phone! Hector text me all week to let me know where they were with repairs and with an eta. This is our second transmission we've done with them. Highly recommend.”

“The team at this location are very professional and polite. They replaced my cylinder heads and head gaskets. They maintained great communication throughout The team also is very good with looking into and working with post repair issues.

My only feedback would be when bigger repairs are done to give the customer a rundown on things to look out for as in things that would warrant taking a look into. Educate us on warning signs so that we as the average consumer can be better prepared.

That being said, I appreciate what the team has done to help my wife and I have a working vehicle again.”

“I want to preface this. I absolutely loved the Round Rock Sun Auto location when Rob was the manager. I brought mine and my boyfriend’s car for any car services bc how great Rob was in the past 3 years living in RR/Georgetown. We moved to Georgetown so mainly use that location but they’re always super busy and hard to get in at times.

I decided to call up RR location to get a quote for new brake pads/rotors.. Kirt did not want to give me a quote bc I wasn’t sure if that was causing the grinding noise in my car but I was pretty sure it was. He told me to bring it in to look at it. Fair. I drop it off and got the report. I call to agree to the brake pads and rotors replacement and brake fluid exchange. During the call, I felt very uncomfortable because I felt like I was being up-selled and judged for not doing all of the services that was recommended. I told Kirt, just the brake pads, rotors and brake fluid. Kept getting asked “are you sure?”. At that point, I honestly didn’t even want get my car serviced there any longer but I just wanted to get my brakes done.

Imagine my surprise when I go to pick up my car and find out that an oil change was done. I NEVER agreed to this. Literally he said vs she said. Then I got a lecture about how low my oil was. I told them I didn’t want/need one at the time, I had oil at home to add before my next oil change. I am furious on how I’ve been treated. Even with all of the great experiences I’ve had with this business, I cannot say I feel comfortable coming back here any longer. I was literally talked to by men who thinks they know what is best for my car and expect me to pay the extra charges.

Update review (changed from 1 star to 4). I appreciate that Kirt reached out to me promptly and confirmed that I did not agree to the oil change. I appreciate that. Car sounds good. Brake feels good.”

“Although I dislike when my truck has to go to the shop, I am glad when I have these guys take care of it. They have always been on top of getting my issues resolved quickly and the right way. Every time they work on my 6.7 they always explain what they found, why it happened or what it will affect, and what the best approach to the solution will be. Great staff. Highly recommend.”
