211 San Antonio St, MasonGood quality wines that sell for $30/bottle and unlike a lot of local wineries, they didn't charge for a tasting. I ended up buying two bottles. Great chitchat with the owner. My only critique: They really need a few more wine choices.

804 Fort McKavitt St, MasonMy family loves this place so much that we drive over an hour just to eat there. The food is amazing and the people are so caring and attentive. One of my family members is in a wheelchair and the restrooms are even big enough for that. Our server was so pleasant but even though we'd stack up saucers bowls etc, he never cleared any of it away so we could have more space on the table. As always we took some of the salsa, quest and freshly made tortilla chips home.
