“I ordered some boots and had not heard anything for nearly a week. I called to get a status and at first they told me it might take a month. I talked with them to see what options we had, and they said to give them some time to see what could be done. Literally the next day I get a call saying my boots were at the store ready for pick up. I have never had a company resolve an issue this quick. My props to the team and the manager.”

“After the pandemic, many retail shops lost manners. And just, honestly, basic ethics. But not this store. I haven't shopped at a Melrose since well before the pandemic. But never shopped at this specific location either. Now I will! The 3 young women I've encountered over the last 2days are just the best. I'm a talkative person and usually I'm ignored. But not these ladies, it's like having a convo with a friend. They greet you as you come in, help you around the store and say goodbye & give thanks as you leave. Some very well rounded young women. I did inform them I was sick with the flu. And they were happy to provide sanitizer. It was my responsibility to have both that and a mask. But they were kind and wore theirs. I'll be more cautious next time. Or stay home til I'm better. Overall it was a great shopping experience. Thanks.”

Store associate said they never received my order and placed me on hold again to check their computer. Associate never picked up while I as on hold. I called them again to try to see the status of my order and they never picked up the phone afterwards anymore. This is my first time shopping in this store and will be my last.UPDATE: Second associate that answered was professional and very helpful. He had my order ready within 3 minutes of calling!!!”

“Limped in and walked out! I haven't had plantar fascitis in 10 years, but I got a painful recurrence now. Ten years ago, I suffered for a long time until I went to the New Balance shop in Arkansas. Those were some ugly shoes, but they cured my pain. I was disappointed that there was no NB shop in the RGV, so took a chance here. Man O' Man, am I happy I did. These Brooks are actually cute! I even got a pair of slides. The total bill was 216.00. I didn't buy the inserts but, it's all good! I was literally crippled, now, 11 hours later, I'm fully functional! If you have pain, come here!
