“Shoutout to McCoy’s Midlo! I had never been to a McCoy’s before and my gosh did they deliver. Everyone was super friendly and very knowledgeable, I came in multiple times to find a specific baseboard trim and some door trim as well. They had both trims I was hunting and Tara, the main saleswoman who helped me, was outstanding. They also welcomed my young children with very understanding smiles and kindness. Lastly, James helped me load up some of the 16’ trim in my van and did a great job from their lumber yard. Even was able to order specific trim I needed as well. All in all, would definitely recommend and looking forward to my next visit. Thank you Tara, James, and McCoy’s for the excellent service. (Special shoutout to Tom for letting me use his labeled measuring tape!) 10/10 would recommend.”

I had a very positive experience at this store. There was absolutely no sense of racism or discrimination, which is something I truly value. The lady at the cash register was very kind, attentive, and respectful not only with me, but also with another customer I witnessed who was having difficulty communicating due to language barriers. Instead of being impatient, she made the effort to understand, and it was beautiful to see.

Stores depend on their customers, regardless of the language they speak. What matters is the willingness to find ways to connect and serve. This store clearly understands that. Migrants also contribute to this nation they buy, they spend, they build, and many times they become the first loyal customers of businesses like this.
