I had an outstanding experience with Kristy, the auto expert, and Will, the store manager, at O'Reilly Auto Parts. My mother and I found ourselves stranded behind the store with a dead battery. After a quick call to the store manager, he agreed to send Kristy to assist us. She promptly walked across the parking lot & and tested the battery, confirming it was dead.
Kristy's helpfulness and kindness were remarkable. She offered to take my credit card and went back to the store to retrieve a new battery. Not only did she return right away, but she also installed the new battery for us on the spot! This level of customer service was exceptional and greatly appreciated.
Thanks to Kristy and Will's exemplary service, I'll always be a loyal O'Reilly customer. Their dedication and willingness to go above and beyond made a stressful situation much more manageable. Jim has been helpful and Lake Conroe Motors was the only dealership I could find that was willing to give me a chance without current work history and pretty bad credit that I am currently working to correct. All I was asking for was a chance.
I see a lot of complaints about the vehicles not being clean or having issues. Let me address those as someone not related to the business.
The vehicle wasn't clean when I got it, but I have seen plenty of nice clean broken vehicles. Clean doesn't make it reliable or a good choice. If you want clean there are plenty of places that offer that by default.
He is able to move his inventory fast, I have seen it myself. The cars don't just sit on the lot. He doesn't have to clean them to move them. Would it make them more appealing? Probably.... But cleaning them will do exactly nothing to make it a better vehicle.
As far as the complaints I have seen about the people getting a bad vehicle, it's a used car lot. Many times these types of vehicles are bought that have been sitting or at auction. I'm not sure where they are sourced but those are the most common places I've seen with other dealerships that don't rely on used inventory from customers trading in. The cars often have problems when they come in and they fix them mechanically before they sell them, sometimes things slip through, that is the nature of such things. Each vehicle is unique and each case will be different. My vehicle wasn't fixed cosmetically, I knew that going into the deal. I was fine with it.
In my case my big blue van had been sitting for a long time and it had some issues. I wanted it before it was for sale, they fixed what they knew was wrong with it, the engine code came back intermittently and they are more than happy to take it in and fix it and get me squared away properly. There were a few unknowns but I knew what I was getting into. I realized that it might have a few kinks to work out. It's over 20 years old. The important part is Jim has been more than happy to reasonably address the issues. I fix what I can on my own, but knowing he will make it right for me is the most important part for me.
He never tried to hard sell me a vehicle, he allowed me time to research and I came back for weeks before I saw something I wanted. He has been nothing short of honest and helpful from my experience.
To top it all off he helped get me into an insurance policy at a decent price and it is included in the payment I make, making things easy to keep track of.
Know what you are getting into, it may not be the right choice for everyone. But my personal experience has been overwhelmingly positive.”

“Cody and Steven helped me during a desperate situation. My battery died while I was supposed to be getting a quick lunch break from work and while it was poring raining outside. I called Autozone and Cody/Manager said Steven will be there in 10 minutes. Steven used a box cable jumper and started my car, I drove to the store and thankfully my battery was still under warranty and it was replaced because the battery couldn’t be recharged.
Steven installed the new battery in the rain, without any complaints and awesome customer service. I was so glad I made it back to work ?
