“She didn't know that this was my first time at this location...the cashier Krystal was so polite..she told me about the sale on the drinks in the front and then ask if I wanted to enter my number..I saved 3.00! Her overall customer service skills and awareness about the store sales/prices was on point and sharp! She needs to be a manager (if not one already)...thanks Krystal for the best on the road -stop!”
“I forgot to put this but I was at Mount Vernon location Tuesday night. The young man there by the name of Daniel helped me with a issue with the pumps. However I had a altercation with another employee there. He seemed to just stand around while the other guy sweeps and mops. Overall good store and thank you Daniel for solving my pump issue.”

“Duke’s Travel Plaza is one of the better truck stops we’ve visited. The facility is clean, well maintained, and has everything a driver needs for a comfortable stop. Clean showers, clean restrooms, laundry facilities, a great selection of food, and plenty of shopping options all in one place. They also have a full-service repair shop for semi trucks, which is a huge plus when you’re on the road.
The unique decor and atmosphere give the place a lot more character than your typical truck stop. Paid parking often goes hand in hand with better facilities, and this location is a good example of that. The amenities are well maintained and the overall experience reflects the investment they’ve made in the property.
The only feedback I would offer is that one of the washers could use repair, and the large pothole at the second entrance needs attention. Other than that, this is an excellent stop for a meal, a shower, a reset, or an overnight stay. Definitely a place we’ll visit again.”
