“It was pouring down rain today and I was distracted, but it was the first time I walked into a UPS store and there was no line! I needed to adjust the drop off location for some Amazon returns and I couldn’t think straight. I asked the associate at the front if I could change it and he kinda gave me a non answer. No hate, he wasn’t rude or anything. Then Davis spoke up from the back and said he could help me. I literally handed him my phone and he walked me through how to change it and made the returns. It was definitely above and beyond customer service expectations. Super nice guy and very helpful. Thanks Davis.”

“Superior customer service at the Richardson, TX location. I walked away visibly displeased with the packaging service the store clerk provided. He evidently noticed it, informed his manager, and she called me to discuss the issue. Basically, I had prepared two different packages to be mailed to the same address. The clerk said it would be less expensive to have him put them both in one box and ship them together. I hesitantly agreed because the store was extremely busy ( Christmas time.). The total came out to be $73…way more than what I expected, hence my immediate displeasure. Not wanting to hold folks up, I paid passively disgruntled and departed. About a half hour later the manager called, apologized, and stated it would’ve been less expensive to ship the packages separately. She refunded me the difference. How many clerks would recognize the situation, inform their boss, and then the boss goes above and beyond to resolve the concern? Few and far between. UPS has earned my continued patronage. Well done!!”

Every staff member at this location is friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help with any questions or issues we may come across locating or sending packages. With our company, we are at UPS almost daily and could not be more pleased with the service this location provides. Mason and Abraham were the most recent staff members we worked with, but everyone at that location is excellent! **Even if there is a long line, they are quick and efficient and get everything taken care of without error.”

“We signed up to get the TSA PreCheck designation to make going through airport security faster. There were multiple places to choose from to go in to the interview portion of the process. I selected this Allen location to set up the appointment. We arrived about 10 minutes early for my 11:30 appointment and signed in at the desk set up for that purpose. We were immediately called back. We presented our passports, entered our phone number and email address on the screen, put thumbs and then the other 4 fingers for both hands on the screen when prompted. The entire process for both of us was less than 5 minutes! Shari was very professional and proficient. In fact we noticed we were back in the car to leave at 11:30 - our appointment time!”

“For reasons known only to them, Spectrum sent us a new cable box we neither needed nor requested. Assuming it was a required upgrade we swapped the boxes and then I took the box to the Spectrum store on my first day off.After a bit of delay the person at the Spectrum store unhelpfully told me they wouldn't take the box back because it was "active" but that I could take it to a UPS store. That didn't make sense so I went home and called their tech support, they confirmed some stores have opted out of receiving return equipment and told me to go to a UPS store or mail the cable box back.I was pretty frustrated when I went to this UPS store, but the folks here were so friendly and professional it almost made the redirection worth it. Seriously, I've had a truly execrable day and the ease and speed with which my issue was resolved improved it tremendously. The lady helping me was very patient and answered all my d*** questions so well that I felt well and truly taken care of.During my brief visit I observed her coworker working very hard to accommodate other customers, it was so refreshing to go to a retail location where everyone seemed to be working together to take care of customers. I am going to find excuses to use their services in the future because they were so pleasant and helpful at this location.”

This is the only store where I can walk-in and out in minutes! Even when it is busy because the team is always on top of things! “I was scrambling to find a UPS that was open to send a present I had procrastinated on sending, but luckily I found this one that was still open til 7pm. I was worried about the shipping schedule and prices, considering that I wanted the present sent by the end of the week. When I came in, I asked if I could get an estimate using an envelope they had that would fit. Lisa had greeted me very genuinely when I first came in, and she was the one that said yes, she would be happy to do that. While getting that done, Lisa humored me by asking questions and listening to my unhinged stories, and she even asked to see my art. I’ve worked in intensive retail & customer service for a long time before, and even though I’m in a different career field, I still notice and acknowledge excellent customer service and genuine, friendly people in general. Lisa let me know the shipping prices and schedules, and advised on the best time to send it my package for the date I wanted. Everyone at this location at 2/13/2024 right before close is amazing, but I’m really grateful I had my interaction with Lisa in particular.”

“I'm using UPS service frequently throughout the year .. I am using this store services for a bout a year now since I moved close by and I have noticed that the store is not getting fair reviews.In comparison with other UPS stores I would rate it (above average - good) with a potential to be 5-stars.This store is always busy ... waiting times varies depends on the time of the day and which day of the week, however it is very close to other UPS stores.Bottle necks - I have witnessed - are usually due to irregular customer requests, first timer customers, impatient customers in a rush, non-Hi-Tech customers or slow computer systems.and yet waiting times are still acceptable.About rudeness or the yelling person; the person is not rude and he is not trying to be - not aware about other times that I'm not in the store-. I believe because of the fast pace combined with the pitch of his voice; the way he talks is taking a form of a "Pressured Speech" specially when he is giving directions/instructions to customers which make people think that he is yelling at them. I think with some staff training that could be improved.UPS will remain to be my favorite courier - as long as prices is competitive - LOL :)”
