“Update 08/23/2024: Since my earlier post, I've also worked with Jennifer at this location several times and have had a fantastic experience. Jennifer has been very friendly and knowledgeable every time and has made several of my banking needs extremely quick and simple. As mentioned before, I highly recommend this EECU to anyone in the area for their banking needs!
I stopped in around 11am on a Saturday morning and Kim quickly greeted me and helped me to complete my banking request in just a few minutes. I absolutely love this EECU branch, so I wanted to stop and share a review. The bank is bright and clean, but more importantly, the staff here are always friendly, very knowledgeable, and happy to help. Thomas and Kim always go the extra mile to help me easily complete my banking needs with all tasks, whether simple or tough. I’m so grateful that they’re always ready to assist. I highly recommend this branch to anyone in the area!”
“These guys and gals are on the ball! Great customer service and know exactly what they are doing!! I will drive 45 minutes to continue to bank with them. Manda was a dream, friendly and efficient. Even followed up with me afterwards. Couldn’t appreciate her more!!”
“I can't believe I am writing a review about a bank.I have mostly dealt with large banks, like Bank of America, Wells Fargo, etc. The service at those institutions was impersonal, but did what I needed.Based on that experience, I started using an online-only bank. One reason I switched was the online bank (Aspiration) does not invest in fossil fuel companies and they make donations to reforestation efforts. They just aligned to my views. I mean, why not an internet bank? If it's impersonal anyway, why not just do everything online?I found a couple services the online banks don't handle as well as a local bank: cash deposits and cashing in U.S. Savings Bonds. The cash deposits weren't that big a deal, since I don't have very many of them, but I have received a few. The bigger issue was the savings bonds. I inherited savings bonds when my mom passed a couple years ago. They have been sitting in my safe because I'm a procrastinator and didn't really know how to handle inherited bonds. One day, while looking for something else, I came across the bonds and decided it was time to do something about them.I wanted a Texas-based bank and selected two to visit.I started opening an account at the first one I visited (Texas Bank) and was told there would be a hold on the funds for a couple weeks. I decided not to open an account, based on that.Next, I visited Frost Bank. I asked about opening a new account and mentioned the bonds, asking about any hold. I was told the funds would be available immediately, so we started the process of opening an account. The person I worked with was named Elijah and he was EXTRAORDINARILY helpful and really got to know me and my banking needs. The account setup was quick, but then he had me download the Frost banking app to my iPhone and helped me set it up! By "getting to know me, " I mean really getting to know me. By the time I left, he knew about my work with TxETRA and my passion for electric vehicles and renewable energy.True to his word, when I checked the app, later that day, all the funds were available to me!But wait, the story doesn't end there.About two weeks after I opened the account, I got a phone call from a manager at that particular Frost branch, asking about my experience opening the account. Unfortunately, I cannot remember his name, but he asked about my use of the app, to make sure I wasn't having any difficulties. He also guided me through setting up some of Frost Bank's fraud protection settings on their website. I made sure to mention the great service I had received from Elijah. Somewhere in the conversation, something clicked for the manager and he said, "Oh, you're that electric car guy!"Now that I have experienced what a PERSONAL banking experience is like, I'll always have a Frost bank account.”

8524 Davis Blvd, North Richland Hills“First off- I want to be clear I'm a credit union guy. I don't want a mega bank who doesn't care about me and uses my meager savings in their schemes to crash the economy with another insane recession. I could go on a much longer rant about how Wells Fargo wouldn't rest until they ruined everyone's credit, or that JP Morgan profited off the slave trade, or how the better way to put your money is to buy gold that you keep buried in the woods- but those ramblings are best saved for my family Thanksgiving meal. Uncle Frank's long covid prevents him from properly ranting about the government and how the election was stolen, so I will be stepping in this year. But even by the high standards I have had satisfied with multiple credit unions, FWCCU goes above and beyond. When I made an account, I sat down with a human being (Tyler at the Bedford branch) who had me flabbergasted by showing me that I was recognized as a human being by the financial institution. Top shelf. I explained I wanted a side account to save up for a house- it was set up quite easily. But I was offered the chance to do an 18 month low interest loan (5$ of interest total) that I could pay off on auto pay for the duration. I plunked down the extra for that and have seen my credit score boosted to the point where country clubs have me on their recruiting list. I have a credit union account in each state I live/laugh/love in, and there will be a cold day in the Goldman Sachs HQ (read: hell) before I bank anywhere else in Texas. Update: I was recently helped with amazing phone service by Amanda Stacks, who has a name that in my mind automatically qualifies them to work at a bank. Aside from the name, they walked me through some questions about the app and my account perfectly. It's refreshing to call someone for a business down the block and not have to speak to someone in the Philippines who has never used the app and is earning 8$ a day in a Manila Telemarketing center. To whatever person reads this at FWCCU: I'm a member for life. I will leave you with the immortal words of Fry from Futurama: Shut up and take my money. 10/10”
“I'm a long time customer and I love this bank. The only bank I can balance my books to, to the penny. Won't allow any out of the ordinary spending without approval. Wonderful people and a great bank.”
“My job uses this bank and everyone is super friendly! Bianca is always helpful! I’ve had no issues when I go to deposit or take care of any other transactions.”
“Nothing but good to say about this particular Credit Union. The manager is very helpful and always willing to go out of her way to make sure you get your questions answered and taken care of. The girls and guys who work there are all friendly they welcome you from the moment you walk through the door making you feel appreciated and happy to see you. This is my credit union and I make sure that others know where I Bank and how I'm treated.”
“It's a bank. They help you get going in the direction you're looking to go, financially speaking. I always go here for my cash advances and Alesia is always extremely helpful. She always knows exactly what I'm looking for. Doesn't even have to ask. I wouldn't give her a 5 star rating though..... I'll give her a 100 star rating. The best part is she knows I LOVE those OG super old school cash notes. Usually, she's got me hooked up. Never had any kind of problems at this bank. DEFINITELY never had a single problem with Alesia. Highly recommend this bank. 10/10.”
“Sheila and Alexis work well together, and both have top notch customer service! You can tell they are working hard non stop and their high levels of energy and positivity are just as high at 5:45 pm. Grateful to have these ladies at my closest branch!”
“"You went to the bank and it was 'awesome'? That's not a sentence you hear everyday." Indeed it isn't, but I did tell some friends just that. I have zero to limited experience with Liberty, but have used 5 banks in my life, and I a switching back to small. Convienient ATMs and personalized debit cards are not worth that many thousands of dollars. They were friendly and considerate and did things slower than they do at the drive through at McMoneyMart. Banking locally is economically sound, neighborly, and less manufactured. If they treat me right, they'll get a 5 and I'll be a big fan. If not, a very jaded review will follow. Last chance, banks.”
“I don't know if you will show this, but the service is as good as to be expected considering what the tellers must do to meet the expectations of the customers. BTW I would like to know the definition of SLOW! Or is it what each person expects!!”

8612 Davis Blvd, North Richland Hills“I was looking for a national bank, because it was too difficult to move my money across states with my local one. A friend told me about BofA, and I've been with them for 3 years. They have a lot of different options for investments. They also provide Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOC) with low interest rates. Easy processes. However, if you go inside, there aren't many people working...service is very slow. Maybe they work from home...?”
“Outstanding customer service. We've banked with Woodforest for a long time and the people who work here reaffirm why we will continue to be Woodforest members.”
