The staff is super friendly and makes sure everyone feels safe and comfortable throwing axes (yes, it’s as fun as it sounds!). They’re all really well-trained, so even if you’ve never held an axe in your life, they’ll get you hitting bullseyes in no time.
On top of the thrill of axe throwing, they have a full bar with great drink options and plenty of games to keep the vibe going all night. It’s the perfect place to hang out with friends or even plan a fun date. I didn’t think I’d enjoy it as much as I did, but I’m already planning my next visit. Make sure to cross the road and visit the Weston family home and gardens. Beautiful spot for a picnic or just a respite from the hectic pace of life.”

“Yelp reviews prompted us to try Sam's and we weren't disappointed! Staff and servers were very nice and helpful. All of our food was hot and served in a timely manner. Perfect place to grab some beers and dinner. The appetizer trio was a great deal. All of the food was tasty and overall affordable. The atmosphere was fun with severally friendly locals arriving for bingo. I wish we could have stayed. Will definitely come back when we're out this way again.”

One of the best-kept secrets in the area! Diamond Oaks Country Club delivers a top-tier golf experience from start to finish. The course was in fantastic shape — lush fairways and fast, true greens that reward good shots. The layout is fun and strategic, with a great mix of holes for all skill levels. Pace of play was smooth, staff were friendly and helpful, and the practice facilities were excellent. After the round, the clubhouse grill hit the spot with great food and cold drinks. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this place is absolutely worth a tee time. Highly recommended!”

Outdoor concerts and movies on the lawn, an awesome 3 story library, coffee shops, great restaurants and cafes with patios, craft breweries and tap houses, pubs/bars, shops, theatre, an art museum, and retro arcade...just to name a few. Walk-ability is great too. Favorite place to meet up with friends. Great people, great vibe. Proud to call Arlington home.”
“For anyone with a disability or recovering from surgery, this is the place to go for accessible swim and fitness opportunities. They have a zero entrance pool entry to the ramp that leads to the vortex pool for water walking against a current and to the aqua aerobics fitness side of the pool. There is a pool lift for access to the lap pool lanes. There is a jetted area in the vortex pool but the water isn't warm like the Jacuzzi, which sadly doesn't have a lift to it for those who can't use the steps there. For equipment, there is a section right outside the swimming pool area where there are machines like you would see at a rehab place for physical therapy, which includes a wheelchair treadmill, recumbent stepper, recumbent elliptical, and two upper body ergometers (aka arm bikes). This place is serious about inclusion.”
“Of December 2023 I had my daughters Quinceañera at The Springs in Arlington. At first, I was somewhat hesitant because the venue had been sold to The Springs. However, the level of attention, support, and service I received were outstanding. I need to give a shout out to Rebekah who went above and beyond by been flexible, kind, patient, and honest. What was not only her, but Dana and even their boss Rob was there helping the day of the event to make sure it was the way I liked it before it started. The food was great, the chapel was lovely, the dressing room was phenomenal and the coordination was superb! You will always be a part of a special memory in my and my family’s life!”

“I had a good time visiting a friend here the workers here are very helpful, and was able to help me find where I was going. The place is self-explanatory so not that much help was need, but is still a good hotel. Maybe not 5 star good, but the customer service was 5 star. Who ever trained their staff did a wonderful job. I know because I use to do customer service myself, and can spot out great customer service like a hawk. The rooms might be dated, but they're clean and comfortable. That's all I need to please me.”
“I recently attended a wedding here. The wedding itself was great the event space was solid. It's a giant open concept room. So you can put tables / chairs / decorations as you desire.However, there is not nearly enough parking for this size of an event venue. The lot fills up fast and all of the surrounding businesses have no parking signs. So you're forced to park in the neighborhood. Beyond that it's a great space!”
