“My car had a few problems with the paint, luckily I found this shop. Instead of calling I went in person to discuss what can be done. He took the time out of his day to show me another vehicle that he was in the process of painting with the same color. Him taking the time to show me that while the painter was still painting had me sold. I gave the car to him on Monday and it was done by Saturday. Pretty quick turnaround I thought, but when I went and seen it. The work that he did was great. The amount of effort he gives shows, a letter had broken from one of the decals, I pointed it out and he told me don’t work I already ordered the new one come back and I will fix it. Definitely a great experience!”

“Very helpful and knowledgeable! Definitely recommend for all air cooled needs. I was passing through the Houston area and had a brake light go out on my 1973 VW bus. I initially replaced the bulb but that didn’t do the trick turned out the tail light assembly needed replacing because the connection was corroded - I had a new assembly with me but my bolts holding it in were pretty stuck. Took the time to fix (my wires, under dash, and sorting it out took some time) and make sure that it was good to go for continuing on the road trip. They have an array of Volkswagen parts available which is really helpful because most places don’t. Honest, good service, would recommend for all your VW bus or bug needs!”

“I live on all the way on humble. My mother has always had her car fixed in this place. Mr. Victor has always been nice and honest with her. I know also take my car here in case there is any issues. Mr. Victor will always tell you with honesty what’s wrong with the car. I recently had a transmission issue and Mr. Victor informed us that “it’s the transmission however I changed the sensor and it’s been running fine. Come to the shop so you can test it out.” The tried the car and it’s running fine. Obviously replacing a full transmission can be expensive and some mechanics would take advantage of that. It’s really hard to find shops with honest reliable personnel. Both I and my mother trust this shop for your car needs. We really don’t mind driving all the way from Humble to Pasadena knowing the car will be work on by responsible people. Be mindful your car could be sitting there 1 week do to the demand of people who also want their car work in this great shop. They will most definitely check the car thoroughly finding the best option for you. Lastly they will offer the best option for you. Again if you want a reliable mechanic with honest values this is the place.”

“I had a cracked wheel for years and was getting it welded left and right. It finally went out , and finding a wheel for my car was like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Every other place didn’t have my size, or online was charging at least $400-$500. I was overjoyed when they actually had it here, for more than half the price. Customer service was amazing, and they also took my old tire! Definitely the place to go for hard to find items.”

“My honest 5 month review Brought my 1998 corvette LS1 in beginning of January for a lot of work done Rear differential seal Front main seal Torque converter Full cam kit Headers, X pipe Trans cooler Even some just small adjustments as well. The guys here have been nothing but honest and helpful, they’ve kept me updated on anything wrong would send updates and photos if something was recommended or needed replacing. Finally after all the work done the car runs smooth my temps never overheat anymore (212 oil temps, 153 trans temp, 185 coolant temp) car is beautifully loud and tuned and would bring it back if I 100% wanted more work done.”

“I can't say enough about harbor freight. Like come on yall, this place is awesome. If I could suggest anything, I'd wish they had longer hours. Even an hour more in the evening would be awesome. My local store is closed at 9pm. The shopping strip has stores open as late as 10pm and would be nice if more stores in the strip stayed open until 10pm. Nonetheless, I love this store. They have the best prices and the return policy is the best. I've only had to return 2 things but it was so easy. They took the item and exchanged it quickly for a new working one. I love the battery packs, can't beat the price for amount. Love my shop vac. Love my rotary tool with all the attachments. Love the deals to get more! Love the free item and coupons. Love the staff! Love the store layout, so clean and easy to move about. This is just an awesome store. There's literally a reddit sub dedicated to harbor freight. Check it out!”
