Today, June 11, 2026 at approximately 1p.m. one of my trucks stalled out about 2000 steps away from Pfast Lube in Pflugerville due to a faulty battery and alternator. After calling several local tow truck companies and having absolutely zero luck on a hot +100 degree day I finally decided to just walk to this shop and ask for help. These guys not only fixed my truck and left it running like new but Mason (a mechanic here) walked back with me to my truck and boosted my battery with his portable battery charger the manager Justin had given him. Once I arrived back to Pfast Lube with my truck they were so kind to also loan me one of their shop batteries which gave me just enough juice for me to drive to the local auto parts store to pickup my needed parts (because honesty who drives around with an extra battery and Alternator :). As soon as I brought back the parts they installed both my alternator and battery within minutes of me handing it to them. All for an exceptional price! For all the work they did I would have been perfectly ok with paying them double, even triple of what they had charged me.
Places like this reminds me of what America is truly about honest, hard working, people with integrity who take pride in their craft and who are willing to help you when your literally stranded in the middle of the road.
