“Great stock and convenient location for raw pet food. We like to buy Steve’s raw beef food, and they have stock in-house. Other locations we have had to special order and wait a few days, so we’re happy we don’t have to do that anymore!”
“We love taking our dogs into Woof Gang to pick out a few treats. Our pup's favorite treats are the soft little hearts. We also turn to them for dog birthday cakes as they have the cutest ones! The staff even write your dog's name on the cake holder if you request it. The store is always clean and well stocked with pet supplies and pet splurges, if you're into that. We have not tried the grooming yet, but my dog tries to go back there every time! The staff at the desk are sweet and always redirect her with a treat. All the groomed dogs come out looking so posh, so we'll be trying it out soon.”
“Vincent and his coworker were super helpful helping my kids pick out their first hamster. We came in within 30 minutes of closing but they spent their time explaining and showing us the different hamster types and getting us all the supplies we would need.

“Been taking my dog Marley for awhile now and he loves it! He is a pretty anxious dog and is hesitant around others but he is excited to go see his groomers. They are very communicative and patient. “How many pet stores are ever featured on a local tourist information center's website? I wouldn't be surprised if no other pet store in the country is also considered a tourist destination. Tomlinson's is a local pet shop specializing in pet products with integrity. The original Tomlinson's was the first locally owned pet store in Austin. Th Burnet Rd store has many things you aren't likely to find at the pet supermarkets. They have private rooms full of supplies where you can wash and dry your dog. They have an engraving station where you can make tags for your pet. And, they have caring, attentive staff. Right now, they are matching every pet food purchase with a food donation to our local pet shelters. And if you go in the playroom you can help socialize local kitties looking for their forever homes. Going to Tomlinson's reminds you that you love animals in a city of people who love animals too.”

“We adopted a female stray and needed her to be checked out, chipped and spayed as soon as possible. Dr. Wadhwani's staff was so kind and got us in quickly. Dr. Wadhwani was very knowledgeable and put us at ease- this is our first girl dog. The surgery went well, beautiful stitches, and the dog is doing great. Prices were more than reasonable. Dr. Wadhwani did the necessary bloodwork to do the best job, but didn't add on extra unnecessary stuff. Really appreciate that! I would definitely recommend the clinic for a good no frills solid experience with an experienced vet!”

“I needed help washing my dog, and I got it at Pet Supplies. Then I forgot to tip the dog washer, which they said wasn't necessary, but he was good with my girl and I would have tipped him if I'd remembered. So I thought hey, I'll write a review and mention him. And now I can't remember his name. So I'm messing up here, but he didn't. First off, I think this is the only place you can wash your dog after 6 in this town. Mostly I think that's a self dog wash kind of thing, but I had help last night and it was appreciated. Also this place has a great selection of supplies. They are aptly named. And I've got me a clean and happy doggie. I need to remember that this place is here. It's a good pet store. Oh and there is a wheelchair ramp near the door for those of you who like to know that sort of thing about a place before you go.”
“First time here.. and currently the only restaurant for dogs (and cats) in Texas…. But went be for long …. Tempted to try it myself, it smelled so good, but have to lead by example as they would get scolded if they ate my food without permission so I’ll not eat theirs ….Staff so friendly and knowledgeable. Food is prepped to rival even human standards. Taking meals to my dogs right now, 5-star-paw rating!!!”
“My only flaw with the place is their rabbits have died twice on us. High end ones at that. Got 2 cheaper ones on Facebook and they lasted for a long time. Awesome fish department if you were looking to enhance your aquarium”

“I went to PetSmart (the only pet store I go to even tho there are others closer to my home) in the Arboretum yesterday to buy some fish in an attempt to feel better about my horrible week and it was the new guy Andrew who helped me achieve that goal. He was helpful and kind. He could tell I was having a rough time & assured me that watching my new fish would help & he was not wrong.

“I've tried a number of Wondercide's products and have been extremely pleased with all of them. The first product I tried was a shampoo bar for my dog. The bar has a very nice lather that gets his fur really clean. Since then, I've used the indoor pest control, flea and tick spray, and ant and roach spray. We like the peppermint scent and the fact that the products are natural and safe to use around kids. I've even used the skin tonic on the kids :) The products really do work!”

“I brought my Shih Tzu nephew in for a teddy bear cut and was honestly extremely surprised by how well it turned out!
Every single detail we asked for was honored—round face, fluffy tail and ears, and a summer cut on the body without any visible skin. He looks amazing!
I was a little nervous at first because the first team member who greeted us seemed anxious when he growled (he gets nervous, but he’s not aggressive). However, I really appreciated that she called in another groomer who calmly held him and helped him feel safe. They also respected our request not to take him to the back (part of the VIP package), which really put me at ease because we don't do kennels.
I’ve had mixed experiences with Petco in the past, but this visit was a huge win. The cut is perfect and we’re all so happy!
