About Candlewood Suites Dallas Plano East Richardson by IHG
Candlewood Suites Dallas Plano East Richardson by IHG offers spacious and clean rooms with comfortable beds. The rooms are functional and include a full kitchen with appliances, and guests can borrow additional items like blenders from the front desk. While the hotel is noted as old and some rooms may have a mild mildew smell, the accommodations are generally bug-free. The location is perfect, close to the George Bush Turnpike, with nearby restaurants, stores, and entertainment.
The staff receives consistent praise for being super friendly, courteous, and providing great customer service, often quickly accommodating requests. Helpful amenities include free laundry, an exercise room, a business desk, and free coffee in the lobby. There is no breakfast, but guests appreciate the strong and hot shower, effective A/C, and the good value for the price. Despite occasional issues like elevators not working, the overall experience is positive, leading many guests to state they would stay again.
Full kitchens in the rooms, so they do not offer breakfast in the morning. They do have free coffee but no ice machines to fill a cooler. Staff has always been awesome, and are familiar with nearby food locations to check out.

I checked in to my room ok. Then left for a while and my key didn't work. I had to go to the desk 3 times before the manager walked me to the room and used her master key to let me into the room
