La Michoacana Meat Market is a great butcher and meat counter with a lot of fresh meats, great for BBQ. They offer pre-marinated meats, carnitas, chicharrones, tablitas, and fajitas. The market also has a small market area and an eatery area serving delicious breakfast plates or tacos, including barbacoa with fresh warm corn tortillas and salsa. The food is good and the prices are reasonable and great. The atmosphere is clean and well-lit. Employees are courteous and attentive, with great service. Some note the marinade is exceptional, though a recent change to the guac was noted. A minor inconvenience is the process to pay for food before standing in the line to receive it. It is considered a great place and the best meat market by some.
