“wanted to take the time and send this recognition for 2 partners that have completely gone out of their way to display great customer service! Both partners are out if the produce/deli department. Mike and Diana! I walked up to Mike and made, what I thought was a weird request. I asked for a smaller portion if penne pasta. He didn't dismiss me or simply said NO. he stopped what he was doing and went and asked. A very nice lady came out,Diana was her name. she explained what she could do and made it for me. I was so happy and thankful that she took the time to help me. I have visited many HEB's and by far, this location has been the cleanest, friendliest and they always have what I'm looking for! I commute from San Antonio daily to New Braunfels and this HEB is my daily stop to pick up my lunch. This HEB truly reflects what HEB says it stands for. This location is my favorite and with partners like Mike and Diana, I will only shop here! thanks Mike and Diana! Thanks for making my day and making me feel welcome!”
“Gasoline at a very good price. You just have to wait longer than usual with other pumps. What does seem slow to me is the pump system, it takes a long time to process the operations and deliver the ticket”

“I ordered to have my prescriptions delivered for free. They told me it would be about six hour wait but the delivery driver showed up about 3 1/2 hours after I called them. They're pretty quick and efficient once you receive the prescriptions you sign your signature on to his cell phone and then they leave. It's very convenient.I highly recommend using H-E-B prescription pharmacy delivery, it's great for those that are senior citizens or who is sick and can't get out of the house”

“My car battery died in the parking lot and they decided to help me jump my car. Store employees told my wife they wouldn't or it would take long and it was a maybe. They took care of me and ill be buying my new battery from them very soon. I would have today but my groceries had been sitting in my car for 30 minutes already. Good looking out tire department. “Best Pharmacy services I have received in this town. Staff is very welcoming. They finished my scripts in seconds or a minutes. Pharmacist provided details about medications and taught me what to do or not.Cost is the best thing. Bought few supplements and they are much cheaper then big box stores or even warehouses or any online services. For my refill pharmacist told me that I have to call them and they can delivered my medication at my home without any charges. He added same day delivery!!! I can download app and monitor my treatment.I work as a general contractor in roofing company, has gone to many pharmacy for my health conditions. Most of the pharmacies takes lot of time to get my meds ready. This guys were fast.......!!! I transferred my wife's scripts here and they made it ready in minutes... Only drawback I saw, pharmacist will not give me my wife medications without her approval. He even deny to speak about anything about my own wife. He said there is something he has to follow, which I never understood. But over all I am happy that this guys are near to my work place and easy to pick up or get delivered.Tyr this guys out, I am sure its next level of the service.”

“Tami at the pharmacy is extremely helpful. I've been coming to this location for years, and everytime my prescriptions come out to a ridiculously expensive cost...Tami would be the only one to inform me that I could get a coupon (that I never knew I could get) to help reduce the cost, especially considering how pricey prescription medication is nowadays. Most of the other employees there wouldn't even bother going that extra length and providing that extra customer service because you can just see it in their faces that they are bothered and don't want to be there and just want to quickly get you out of their line. But not Tami. Thank you for your help!”

“Make sure you have time for these services and are not in a rush. There isn't usually anyone around the photo lab area, but they will page someone over there to assist you if need be. I worked at a Walgreens while I was in college as the Head Photo Specialist and I always made sure myself or a photo tech working that shift kept an eye on the photo area to assist all customers. This was 15 years ago and we were the last Walgreens to still develop 35mm film (inside the store within an hour), so we did a lot of business and at least four or five passport photos a day I would estimate. The position of lphoto specialist may not exist anymore. I think it's pretty much designed as they do it yourself system now. That's important to keep in mind as you go in for these services.
I would recommend this Walgreens if you are looking for a deal and to save some money. However, if you are in a hurry and/ or need the cheapest possible solution, then Do your research ahead of time and make some phone calls if possible.”

“A shout to the optical department. I should have gotten the associate name. The optical department has never disappointed me. The service is incredible. From choosing a frame. Then changes my glasses to bi-folicals. They've adjusted my frames. I told my husband when we go in I'll get my frames tightened. I dropped them off while I picked up a prescription. The guy adjusted them, cleaned them & delivered them while I was in line at the pharmacy. Talk about over an beyond”

“This place is “okay” much like all Exchanges. Most all items are MSRP, but without tax. Honestly, better deals are not here. Know your prices, and with consideration to tax or no tax. Sometimes the Exchange have incredible sales, but not often.”
