“This place is amazing! They helped me out with a nail in my tire. After going to Discount Tire to fix my tire they told me it need to be replaced and they could not plug or path the tire based on location. They wanted me to spend $220 on a new tire with their discount. I left to shop around, to get a second opinion. Once I arrived to Alfanso Tire Shop and showed them the tire, they said they could fix it. They briefly went over the pros and cons with me, then I asked him what would he do? Long story short based on his recommendation I had to only pay $10 to get the tire it plugged. I want to say, stop by this shop first before going anywhere else. Im sure you wouldn't be disappointed. Thanks Alfonso Tire Shop, You have a customer for life.”

“This will be our go to auto shop for as long as it possibly can be. We took our vehicle there for the first time this week. Brian gave us a run down of everything that could be done and then detailed the more immediate needs. They had the car fixed up ahead of schedule and went above and beyond to make sure our tires were safe for an upcoming trip. They even put together a bag of snacks for my two kids for the road trip! “Just a good old-fashioned customer service centric business. Pricing is about the same as Discount Tire, but the ability to not have to wait hours is the huge plus. Their roadside service has always been fast, efficient, and priced right. While I have used them for years, a couple months ago while I was out of town on business, my wife had a flat on I10 east of SA in a construction zone. I called Lyndas, and they were on site within 30 minutes, and to both of our great relief they had her going again within 10 minutes of arrival!!
Based on a recommendation from a friend that uses their commercial roadside service, I started using them exclusively for our company vehicles as well as my personal vehicles several years ago, many new tires and roadside services later, I have never had a regret!! Only downside, closed weekends. Very highly recommend!! Debbie and Ronnie, thanks for all your help over the years!!”
“I recently got new rims & tires from a different RAW store. Amongst other issues, their TPMS machine wasn’t working & they didn’t balance my tires so I went to this location off Naco. Mike immediately was very polite & helpful. No questions asked, he reset my sensors & was able to fit us in later that same day to balance the tires. “The short is Jacob Carrasco has redeemed my faith in discount tire.
They’re not the cheapest, And I bought four tires with warranties on all four. My tire ended up having a gash on the side of it that we didn’t know where it came from after about a year and a half of driving. It was pointed out to me by a discount tire tech at their Schertz location while I was getting my pressure checked after a cold storm. It was not a puncture and it was still holding air pressure, but I was worried about the integrity of the tire. The tech said that it wasn’t that deep and it shouldn’t cause any issues, but I wanted to speak to the manager.
I explained to the manager that I had a warranty on the tire and then I wanted to have it replaced because I was worried about driving on this. The manager told me that it would not be covered under the warranty and that it was still structurally sound. I left that store feeling taken advantage of and defeated.
I called at least three or four times to their corporate office waiting for a call back and never received one. I emailed them and I received an email back. I provided the information they asked for and then never heard anything again.
At this point, I was gonna give discount tire one last chance before I boycotted them for life. I thought maybe I should go to the normal store that I go to off Agora Parkway in the forum.
I explained the history to the assistant manager Jacob Carrasco, and he apologized for all the hassle that I had gone through.
Jacob was thorough, professional, and willing to help out with something that was definitely outside of my control. You can tell he really cares about the people that is serving and puts himself in their position. He has redeemed my faith in discount tire, and I will continue to be a faithful customer due to him.
Not only did I get the warranty tire replaced, but I went ahead and bought a second tire for his recommendation so they would not be uneven and then bought two new warranties.
I truly appreciate him going above and beyond and wanna make sure that he is acknowledged for his help and doing the right thing.”

“I had had a sidewall tear on a Pirelli tire mounted on a 2005 Mini Cooper S. I checked on line at a major tire retailer and in person at Discount Tire. All had to order it. I called Firestone at Randolph JBSA and had an appointment that morning for an equal or better run flat. Service was prompt, taking less than 30 minutes. I am most impressed.”
