“Good luck trying to call them on the phone. I called the local number, and not a single one of the options presented lets me speak to a human to inquire about safe deposit boxes.
UPDATE: the email provided by the response to my original review was very helpful. Also, while there is no phone menu option about what I wanted to ask, apparently pressing 5 and picking one of the next options could get you to a human who can answer your question even if the phone menu suggests they can't.”

The online banking is so convenient and I really enjoy the benefits of splitting my direct deposit so I can save for the unexpected. It is everything one needs for their banking. “Writting this review because I was honestly surprised to see anything 3 star and below. I've been with UHCU for over 20 years now and can tell you that yes there is sometimes a wait but where ever is there never a wait? Their rates are great and I have had several personal loans and vehical loans through them with ZERO issues.
You chose this place not only for the great people and rates but because it has been a part of Austin, TX since 1957 where it once was only a Military Federal Credit Union. This place was built on the backbone of supporting military and health care personnel.
Being born and raised in Round Rock as well as having served my country, UHCU is just part of my bringing up in life and they will forever have my business.”

“What an incredibly pleasant experience during my lunch break! I've been with Austin TELCO for many years now and do most of my banking online or over the phone. This time, when I called to replace my compromised debit card, I was recommended to stop by the nearest bank location. So I did. I had a pleasure visiting the Round Rock location at LA Frontera Village. Not only replacing my debit card took only a few minutes, Megan was probably the sweetest and kindest bank teller I've ever met! Dennis, the supervisor, was also very helpful and quick to respond. Thank you ATFCU team! You are my favorite bank!

“Ufcu has been great for me. I went to a different branch today and there were no human tellers. Just a screen with a payphone type handle for privacy if desired. It was weird. If you want to deal with humans in front of you, I don't recommend this branch. Otherwise, great credit union.”
