“We had a wonderful experience at Kalahari Resort! We were here for a business trip, but the resort made it feel more like a fun family getaway. Everything was so nice, clean, spacious, and well maintained. There is so much to do, and it’s incredibly kid-friendly, making it a great place for families.
The atmosphere is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and there are plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. Even with a business trip, it was easy to relax and enjoy the resort. We would definitely recommend Kalahari for both business and family trips!”

“I am so grateful to Avid for always providing a very clean AND fragrance-free room for people like me who are genuinely made sick by fragranced places & spaces.
I am also so grateful for the very clean, comfortable, not too hot, & simultaneously & perfectly firm mattress with a soft topper. It's so challenging to find perfectly comfortable beds in a lot of affordable hotels these days as well. And I'm so grateful for the ability to actually control the air conditioning in the room as well, as I cannot sleep if my body is hot.
My only bummer is that I requested a second floor room three times, & did not get one. Thankfully, there were not two toddlers running above my room from 11:30 pm to 1:00 am, like my last & first visit to this hotel (& was never compensated for with any voucher, etc., but alas). I had to call three times before they finally moved the family to the ground floor.
So, I didn't get to enjoy the free breakfast my last & first visit due to my sleep being interrupted. I had such trouble getting back to sleep, & then slept through the end of the breakfast.
However, I did wake up early enough for the free breakfast this visit, & both my picky husband & I were impressed. The eggs, bacon, & potatoes were very delicious. I enjoyed making a bacon & egg sandwich on a toasted English muffin; & so much so that I went back for a butter & jelly dessert English muffin. I'm more of a water with meals person, but my husband enjoyed the free coffee & orange juice.
I had the pleasure of seeing Tim again upon checking out, & he's such a friendly, good person. I hope I get to see him every Sunday at checkout. Give this man a raise!
We are looking forward to our next visit to both Round Rock & Avid. Which should be increasing, now that both of our sons are living together in Round Rock.”

“Perfect sport if you are visiting to attend a conference at Kalahari resort and don it want to stay on the resort with higher fee. A lot of restaurants at walking distance is a perk. They also have a bar which opens at 6 pm.”

“We stayed here for a few days while my husband was on a business trip, and we were very impressed with the service. The staff were friendly, thoughtful, and truly accommodating. Breakfast officially ends at 9:30 AM, but I personally saw the staff prepare breakfast for guests who arrived late. That level of hospitality is rare and really appreciated. Highly recommend this place!”

I had a great experience at the Embassy Suites Round Rock. The exercise room was exceptionally clean, all of the equipment was in excellent working condition, and the space was well-maintained. It made for a very enjoyable workout experience and added to the overall quality of my stay.”

“Staff was great, very secure place, and very clean. Don't know about breakfast because I cooked in my room. You can request a hot plate that comes with a sauce pan, but being a transporter i carry my own pans. All in all a very nice hotel. If you are a Mother reading this,,, HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!! “Besides my car getting backed into the hotel was as you should expect from a Days Inn Motel. This one was clean and well kept for a Days Inn and the clerks were very helpful. All in all Id definitely stay again.”
“Staff was prompt and courteous. I'll be going back at some point. Only reason I didn't give 5* is because the pool was lacking in comparison to overall building design. Didn't seem to fit in there.”

She also had nice conversations with me and others sitting at the bar, I highly recommend a stop at the bar for drinks or food and chat with the bartender Tanya”

“I will be staying here again. The room was spacious and clean, the sheets were clean, the mattress was nice and firm, and I really appreciated having clean hard floors instead of carpet. The bathtub showed a little age, but it was absolutely clean.
The AC worked great (Aug in Tx) and I slept extremely well. I was nervous about booking in a new area, and I had two extremely large heavy boxes in the back of my truck. I was worried but had to leave them there. The boxes were still there in the morning, no issues. I never assume anywhere is a safe area, but I woke up and felt much better.
Zero complaints. I will definitely stay here again. And, looks like with all of the money I saved, guess who's going shopping!!!!”

“My family and I stayed here for a night for the UIL state baseball game. This hotel was amazing. My boys loved the pool and being able to swim after being at the game and how hot it was. The rooms were nice and cleaned with no issues. The beds and pillows were comfortable. They have a great selection of breakfast foods and the staff is amazing. One in particular i want to recognize is shelia! I hope i spelt her name right. She was AMAZING! She helped us with getting food for all of my boys so they can sit down faster to be able to eat, checked in on us to make sure we were doing ok or if we needed anything things you would expect from a restaurant not a hotel! She definitely deserves the recognition! We will be staying here any time we are in the area!”
