He patiently guided me through trying different types and sizes, which was essential since I struggle with neck and shoulder pain. “When we bought our new home back in Sept 2022, we bought furniture at both SF and NFM.
Fast forward to Jan 2026 and I just want to share that the pieces we bought from SAGINAW FURNITURE, was not only cheaper than NFM but the quality has been far superior to that of the overpriced low quality bulk produced furniture we bought at nfm at the same time.
Ive spent the last 3 weeks just trying to get NFM to honor the 5 year protection plan, through square trade/Allstate. Claiming they would send someone out within 72 hours. After my 20th call to them this morning, I asked can I just hire a different furniture repair company? She wasnt sure but would find out. So, since I tossed Saginaw furniture 's info into this ordeal for the repairs, I decided to give them a call. I spoke to Steve.
Y'all THIS RIGHT HERE is why to do your business with family owned local shops. He was awesome and able to help get the dots connected. He even remembered the custom halltree we bought way back in 2022. We also bought a complete bedroom suite with them. We had been hunting everywhere because I wanted antique white furniture. Having dual base adjustable beds also presented a challenge in finding a headboard to make the adjustable beds look nicer. He found us a custom headboard,footboard and frame all wood and in antigue white , exactly what I wanted. Then they came and built it aroundbour beds! Their guys were fast, friendly, and cleaned up their mess. All the furniture we bought with them, still feels and looks brand new. Its all solid. Nothing loose or anything.
Ok, so why so long to do the review? Thats on me. We got busy with moving ,kids in school, and life. Dealing with needing furniture repair in the junk nfm sold us brought all this back around. After how willing Steve was this morning to help us with this issue, I felt I absolutely needed to make sure people knew how awesome this little shop is. Don't waste your time driving to Dallas. Go see Steve at Saginaw furniture! I dont work for them or know them personally, just a really happy customer and in a world where everyone likes to complain, I just wanted to compliment them.”
