After 4 separate trips to look at flooring at the big box stores and desperately looking for someone to help and getting nothing but the brush off we decided to give Matt’s a try.
We were very pleasantly surprised from the moment we walked through the front door. Welcoming smiles, hello’s and how can we help you. We knew we were in the right place.
We proceeded to the flooring department and were immediately greeted by Chris F. who was extremely helpful in answering all of our questions and got us all set up and out the door.
Then we headed over to plumbing and another employee greeted us as well and thanked us for coming in.
Very pleased with the 5 star service this company provides to its customers we will not shop anywhere else. Thank you”

“The guys here at McAllen Bolt and Screw were beyond helpful and more than knowledgeable in helping me replace a bolt that had been missing for my skid plate under my Jeep. It was an odd request and the guys were patient and understanding of my concerns for driving with a partially assembled skid plate. Their efforts and kindness don’t go unnoticed , they’re the same people working there that I saw when I was 5 years old back in 96. “I like spending time here and I always find what I’m looking for. It’s a clean and organized location for home improvement and gardening needs. I’ve noticed that some of their staff is not as attentive as other locations, they seem to avoid eye contact or coming by to ask if you need help. Yesterday a male shopper called for help and when the staff came by to help he immediately assumed I was the one asking for help and not the male guest, I wonder if it’s because I’m female. That seems to be standard at stores like this though. Overall I still recommend it but staff could move this up to 5 stars.”
