“On my way to Tookie's, I noticed a Kroger sign and decided to make a stop there to take advantage of my cigarette special (even though I have a daily limit, I don't like being caught with no smoke at all - hint: Hurricane Beryl).
However this Kroger doesn't have a fuel center, decided to walk in.
The parking lot and entrance was clean. Went to an expess check out lane closest to the cigarette cases. Anthony, clerk/cashier, quickly made eye contact and greeted me with a smile. He found my brand of cigarettes quickly. After finishing the transaction, he thanked me. A successful short stop at Kroger!”

“We usually go here when we don't want to deal with the crowds at the larger chains. The prices can be a bit high on some items, but the store is maintained well. It's fairly easy to get in and out without too much trouble. Only other weak spot I can think is the deli. Fried and rotisserie chicken tend to be a little dry. Not sure if it's them or the time of day we get there.”
