“This is a good yet small grocery store. It probably only has about 3-4 aisles of grocery items, predominantly frozen, canned foods or boxes. There are a lot of spice choices on the back wall. It’s not a very appealing grocery store in terms of the way that it stocked or organized seemed a little bit cluttered on the shelves however, I feel like I had a good variety. The cashier was friendly and helpful. There is Abdullah‘s kitchen inside the grocery store a pretty great dive type of a restaurant. It’s all made to order and was very flavorful, but not a massive menu. However, I feel like there was enough variety for our family.”

“Staff is kind, welcoming, and helpful :) The store is organized and has a wide variety of items - it’s our go-to halal grocery store. There are also a bunch of beautiful Ramadan decorations available right now!! ?”

“My boyfriend and I found them on Google, they are closer to us than a lot of halal meat markets. We came in looking for good quality meat, and that's exactly what we purchased. We were lucky enough to meet the owner, who was very hospitable and helpful to us. They aren't fully open on Tuesdays, but that didn't stop them from giving us exactly what we needed at an excellent price. Better than Costco. We will definitely be coming back ?”

“Glad I chose this place. I don't go to the butchers much. So I liked that they had large posters showing different cuts of lamb, mutton, beef & pork. Happily offered to vacuum seal everything. Definitely the pros & best one yet. Offered an awesome sample of sausage after purchase.”

“(Translated by Google) It was my first time going to buy meat for roasting and I didn't know which one was better, but the boy Jose was so kind and helped me get the best and juiciest meat. I also tried the Tejano meat, which by the way I loved! I recommend it very tasty(Original)Fue mi primera vez de ir a comprar carne para asar y no sabia cual era mas rica pero el muchacho Jose fue tan amable y me ayudo a conseguir la carne mas rica y jugosa. “been a regular here for many years, their tacos are honestly some of the best, always feels fresh and well made. the store itself really gives off the feeling as if you really are in a corner store from Mexico, absolutely would recommend to stop here for a quick bite and light grocery shopping.”

“Opens at 6am and closes 11 pm sometimes 12 am. The food they prepare inside is good. Staff is cool. Only one register. They do have a western union box so you can send money or receive. Great selection of everything you need. Some items may be expired but those you can really tell. A lot of drunk grown Mexican men stand sit or lay in front or on the side of the store. Sometimes they bother you, other times they don’t… it’s 50/50. More than enough parking available. Overall 5 stars in my book. Super convenient to anyone who stays on club creek.”

“La Michoacana has always been a go to spot on sundays when I'm in the mood for some bog ol quesadillas or tacos. Their way of paying for the food is not as convenient but I guess it's safe. They have all kinds of snacks and foods that ypu couldn't find at Walmart or Target. Definitely check this place out if you want legit ingredients for your next latin dish.”

“I hear the place gets busy at night time but I have only ever gone during lunch and it was very low key and easy to get seated then.I never expect much in the way of service from a joint that sells hamburgers but the staff here is really nice and helpful.I tried the hamburger and truffle fries and it was excellent. Everyone else in the restaurant seemed to be enjoying their food too. They have all kinds of steaks in various cuts to go, frozen in a freezer right there. When I didn’t see filet mignon available in the freezer, they brought some out of the back for me to pick and choose. So, if you don’t see what you want ask and they might have it in the back.”

“You have GOT to go here. The place is not obvious, in a strip center, but OMG, BUCKLE IN, I *HAVE* to tell you:1. Good smaller grocery store. Not great for produce (quality, just not a huge selection), though I did buy some great veggies. They have a meat counter that looked clean and fresh, though I didn't need anything. They had a LOT of frozen and shelf-stable goods. I know beans about middle eastern food, but it seemed like they had a lot. 2. Wonderful bakery. As mentioned earlier, I know beans about Middle Eastern food, but I bought some of their magical pita. It was chewy, delicious, and flavorful. I also bought baklava and a few other unidentified members of the baklava phyllum, and an egg bread - not sure what it is called, khatchapuri in Armenia.3. The REAL reason you should go (after 11:00 am) is the lunch counter. I've been 3 times. I always get the stew with tomato, lamb, and eggplant...but also the shrimp pilaf and the lamb shanks with saffron rice - biryani in Indian food. They have kibbe and (for some reason) egg rolls and samosa.4. Really, really nice people. I felt like the customer they'd been waiting all week to see.5. Great value for money. I paid about $25 for 5 meals last time I went. A big pack of pitas (about 10 loaves, 10" in diameter) was $1.75.”

“Al Aqsa is a great place to buy meat with basic daily groceries. Sonia is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about products and specific signature recipes. It looks like she loves to cook and is very helpful--another thing that is very important for me is the smell inside our desi stores, and I thank God for this store. They clean the meat area with bleach at closing time. All the groceries are well-packed and sufficiently inventoried on the shelf. I highly recommend this place, and they are open 7 days a week. Thank you, Sonia and team, for making our grocery experience pleasant.”

“The food is bomb for breakfast or lunch. My favorite is the steak fajitas Chilaquiles, to try go by 10:30 when breakfast ends. Sometimes no one at register but never waited too long.”

“The food is delicious I've been going to get barbacoa from them as well as there steak but the service is very rarely not bad the drive thru is that bad as far as service wise but definitely takes a minute but inside is a different ball game you better have your ticket and once there on to the next person you basically are in line again (asked for green and red salsa, they responded it's in the bag checked and it was only one kind) so I had to wait until they finished both people behind me for salsa and that's just my most recent experience but once again THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS”

“We love this place. The quesadilla is awesome. Just a little grocery store that offers Mexican delicacies on the weekends and other staples during the week. Great little gem though. Bodega style.”

“A little overpriced, but that's to be expected from smaller stores. Clean, had everything I needed. Cashier's could be a little faster but overall good place.”

“Stopped here for drinks and snacks before heading home. It's right in the middle of the historic district just a block or so south of the police station. They had everything we needed but noticed they didn't have ginger ale. Just a little old country store.”

“Great Mexican breakfast! Fresh salsa bar for toppings & spice. Good variety but breakfast is my favorite here. Authentic, homemade, tasty, and reasonably priced. The cafe in the small well provisioned grocery store has very accommodating cooks and the ubiquitous store owner is always there to help and an all around very nice guy! Check it out and be happy you did…..”
