When I returned 30 minutes later, I was thrilled to discover he had retrieved it and had it waiting at customer service for me. They say integrity is what you do when no one is watching. “This is a wonderful family-owned business! There is a bakery on one side and a small grocery store with deli counter on the other side specializing in Eastern European items. The owners and staff are very kind and friendly. The store is immaculately clean, and the shelves are well stocked. The fresh baked bread and Ukrainian pastries are delicious! Fort Worth is lucky to have this gem of a small business. I will be a regular customer here.”

“Nice welcoming place, all the usual foods. Virtually every TJ's has the same winning vibe and culture. I've only ever encountered one TJ's that was outright creepy (Brooklyn NY). The workers in Southlake are mostly very friendly. The only exceptions might be one or two take their breaks in the bathrooms, preventing customers from using them, and then fail to clean those bathrooms even if there's a mess.”

“Are you a homesick Brit looking for a taste of some childhood comfort food? Looking for Marmite? Craving Wilkinson's jams? Absolutely must have some pork sausages or Cornish pasties? The prices are dear but there are numerous delights from books to tea cosies to Yorkshire Gold Tea to entice you. Think we spent about $200 on indulgences. There were things in there I'd totally forgotten about. Lots of gluten free items including mincemeat pies, Walker's Scottish shortbread, fruit cake, and more! Will definitely be going back!”

“Great friendly service! This store and Hulen store they are always helpful and insightful and always have a wonderful variety of groceries. The stores are always clean and they have sanitizers too! I go in to the stores and I've gotten curbside, soon or next I plan to try their delivery. I have bought their reusable bags some insulated for cold and some not just regular reusable and they offer ice to help keep your frozens and to keep your "cold products", "cold" (this is more so to use when it's hot but a nice perk.)”

“I was looking for carving pumpkins and Kroger wanted $6, Tom Thumb wanted $5 and Aldi wanted $2.50. So, that’s where I went. Raspberries that normally are $6.99 at Tom Thumb were $2.79. Everything was half or less than half of what I normally pay. The store is small so there is limited inventory, but for fresh veggies and fruits, and meats, you can’t go wrong! It was weird to have to have a quarter to get a shopping cart, but the cashier loaned me a quarter since I didn’t have one. When I put the shopping cart back I got the quarter back to give to him. Also, they do not have any free bags. You either buy their $2.99 bag or don’t use a bag.”

“It's amazing how two store 11miles apart can be so different. Tom Thumb Flower Mound, the workers are nice, polite, greet you, make sure you can find items. Tom Thumb Trophy Club, the workers aren't mean, just not nice, kinda neutral, very rarely do they greet you (excludes meat dept and pharmacy) never asked me if I found everything, rarely make eye contact. Prices are the same, but service is distinctly different”

“This is a Trader Joe's company so product quality is there. Like trader Joe's it is really no frills. You have to bag your stuff and bring your own bags. If you ever want to just put together a quick party and not break the bank, this is the place to go for food. Keep in mind you can't pick up brands you know necessarily here. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful.”

“Came across this donut place on a whim searching for specialty donuts. They came through big time and whipped a dozen football shaped donuts together in record time. They have a really great variety of donuts and the staff is very friendly and helpful. My only slight complaint is the dough itself is on the sweet side so it's a lot of sweet going on.”

“Dropped in to check out what they had. Quite impressed with the selection and dropped a benjamin on their frozen meats. Had a organic rhode island red chicken for dinner and the meat was tasty and complex instead of the usual supermarket variety. Heritage pork was available for the pork eaters as was Australian wagyu at very reasonable prices. Lots of unusual fare that you will not find at your local supermarket :-) Worth a visit just to browse. A definite must for foodies and would-be foodies”

“For a supermarket this place has some nice food selections from their kitchen. They also have a great Bristro too and seating is all in the same room. It is a nice place to do your grocery shopping with solid meat, seafood and 4 star produce selection. All staff is very helpful and polite.”

“Aug 2023: 5⭐: I would recommend this location. This location is pretty decent for shopping in this area. The store has gotten rid of the video rental machine that was here. I stopped by this location to pick up fruit, snacks, and food for the evening. I was happy to find some of the snacks were discounted as well. I guess if it is discounted, then it's probably meant for the same day consumption. Whaaaa...I have to eat the WHOLE cake. Ahm, yeah, no problem. I have not had any difficulty with any workers at this store location. The parking areas are fairly new and offers more handicapped parking areas.Feb2022: I would recommend this location. I needed help on several occasions for items that I couldn't find and one of the workers helped me. Can you imagine that? I got help from a store employee when I asked for help!! I have gone to the customer service counter and I have always been helped in a timely fashion.This visit was a five (5 ⭐) visit. The self checkout lanes are almost always working with a cashier nearby to help with any issue. On many occasions I have come here and have been able to get in and out quickly. I think this is one of my favorite locations. The employees at the front are always friendly and the the cashiers are always there to help with the self-checkout. The fruit and vegetable aisle is always neat without items on the floor or in the aisles. Each time I've gone into the store, the shelves were stocked with items and they were fronted for customer purchase. I checked the restroom while I was there and each time I've gone in it is always fairly clean without paper and items on the floor.”

“So I had a great experience coming here not too long ago, but please, people beware of your receipts. I believe back in the 1990s, I remember when people were ringing out at the registers that they were getting higher prices than what they see.I had just experienced this, and I hope and pray it gets a little bit better with their system. They had taken me for a few dollars. But that adds up if you have a lot of people coming through the lines and not paying attention to what is being rung up.I try handing over my items one by one just to see what they will do? And trust me, I have already seen it at Tom Thumb they'll go about their business and not say nothing unless you say something. I did use my rewards, so I'm not sure why it didn't ring up that way. I'm going back in tomorrow to get a price adjustment.Albertsons Corporate. Please watch what you're doing, or it can lead to bigger worse things if you keep overpricing people!!!???UPDATE: I put the actual five-star rating that I had wanted to give in the first place for having a great customer service experience quite some time ago with these Albertson's.Hopefully, the video will come through, and you can see it that they did give back my refund almost $14 and some change. The young lady who was refunding me had said this happened quite a bit of times at this particular Albertsons.??That's a lot they really have to update those computer systems. But I'm satisfied now. And then I put some pictures out just to show proof that Albertson's messed up.”

I usually have to go to different places to get all my favorite healthier snacks and supplements but this store had everything I needed. Organic produce is a big deal for me and going to other grocery stores it can be a hassle to find organic fruits and veggies amongst the inorganic produce.This store had everything I needed.
