“Saturday was my first time visiting the shop, and I couldn't be more impressed. The guys were friendly and extremely helpful. The prices were great, and the services was outstanding. After hitting a curb and damaging two tires, I was very stressed, but they got my car in an out quickly and fixed everything fast. This was some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. The only reason it took a bit was due to a Holiday and engine having to be shipped. When I would call they always gave me an update.
They gave me a ride and also delivered my vehichle when it was ready.
A couple weeks later I was worried about water leaking which was just my AC. Again these folks gave me a ride to and from and checked it out without charging me to reassure me everything was ok. David was also a very nice man he drove me home.
I had just forgotten about humidity after living in such a dry area previously.
I feel like this shop is reasonable and fair.
I will be using them again when I need a good mechanic.”
“Wow!!! All I can say is WOW! We have not purchased from Big Country tire before…ever. But if I ever need tires, I will be back!!!! We had a lawn mower tire that needed a stem replaced. 11:30 am on a weekend and they fixed it without charging us a dime. I don’t know why, but it was sure appreciated!!!”

“I ran out of fuel in the Sam's parking lot, far from the fuel pumps. I went inside and figured if anyone would know how to help me, it would be the tire guys. The guy at the tire desk was super nice and called someone to help. A guy named Jared (pretty sure he was management based on how nicely he was dressed) came to my aid. He grabbed a Jerry can and siphon and came out to my car and put enough fuel in it to get me to the fuel pump. He was super helpful! He had to tell me that it was him personally helping me, not Sam's, for liability purposes, I'm sure. But I can't rave enough on how awesome he was! He was so helpful, especially in 104° temperatures. The man deserves some kind of accolades and recognition! He wouldn't let me pay him, so I hope Sam's will take notice of this incredible employee!”
“Our driver had a catastrophic situation down the road from this location. From the initial consultation to the ordering of parts and the installation of all the parts, Southern Tire Mart well exceeded our expectations!! They went above and beyond what we would expect from any shop, even offering to go out and recover the rims and tires to see what could be salvaged.
Armando was invaluable in helping us navigate this situation! He was able to track down all the parts we needed and he even played an integral role in the installation of everything! We cannot express enough just how grateful we are for Armando and his entire team at Southern Tire Mart!! While we hope we are never in this situation again, we would without question use this shop to address this or any other issue we may have with any of our other trucks!!

“After a wonderful visit with daughter in Abilene, I was on my way back to Dallas when I hit a dip really hard and broke the splash guard under my car. This caused it to drag and scrape the ground and there was no way I would be able to continue the trip home. I dropped off my car at Firestone on Saturday evening and expressed that I needed to leave on Sunday to go back home. They said they would do whatever they could do to get it fixed up and they came through on that!!! I was on my way home early Sunday afternoon. Thank you for the great customer service and those in the shop that repaired my splash guard and allowed for a safe trip back home! ? God Bless”
“I showed up to your facility without an appointment to me running over something while I was out of town and had to take my car in without an appointment of course this staff did not complain, they just took my vehicle took it back inspected it also inspected all the fluids under the hood to make sure that everything was working and flowing correctly, the staff was extremely pleasant and fast the guy that was working on my car was 77 years old and you could not tell that young man was moving like he had the spirit of Superman and him he had everything done in less than 30 minutes I appreciate everything that Firestone and the staff there in Abilene Texas did for me and would recommend anyone to go there thank you for everything”
