“I had so much fun shopping the holiday decor. It was difficult to stay within my budget. I purchased one incorrect item and returned it without any fuss. The only fault that I found with the store was that the isles were too small. As one other shopper put it, "Each isle is only wide enough for one person and there is already one associate restocking on it." Items are good quality and seem to be appropriately priced. FRIENDLY SALES STAFF.”
“This neighborhood Walmart is located close to my job so I stop there very often. The staff has always been helpful and they keep the store clean and organized.
One thing I really do appreciate is their produce department. Unlike all the other locations that I've been to this location has always had fresh produce at reasonable prices for my budget.
My favorite part about the store is their clearance section. I can always find something there that I don't need but end up taking home anyways LOL.”
“Today I was followed by a man in the store and I didn't think much at first, but after he followed me down every aisle all across the store I got a weird feeling. He has no cart, was alone and no items in his hands. It may have been innocent but my gut felt something was off. I stopped and let a few employees know. He took off and and I didn't see him again. These employees stayed by my side and were so kind and understanding. Offered to walk me to my car. Thank you so much! ?”
“It's a shame they are closing nationwide. Gone is another defining store of my era. Thank you Big Lots, for I was once an employee during my college years in Tyler, TX. I learned a lot while working there over 20 years ago.

“People do not understand retail. They want to shop but certain things are out of the Manager hands. The company knows about the restrooms, yes they can clean it but it still looks the same. The floors they only get certain times to strip maybe 2 to 3 times a year. Customers who opens perfumes oils there food and drinks on the floor that is the customer and the associates has to clean it up. People want to blame management is the wrong person to blame. It’s hard to run a business and keep clean when they are limited stop blaming management.”
“Walmart always has a good pharmacy. The Walmart on Broadway in Tyler has a great pharmacy staff. And of course Walmart has just about everything you need at usually decent prices.”
“I really like this location for a lot of reasons. 1 big note though. DO NOT buy the Easter candy here. It's especially awful. You can taste that it's at least 10 years old. However, everything else has been pretty good.”

They say nothing truly interesting happens in small towns—unless, of course, you find yourself at the Neighborhood Walmart.
It was a Tuesday, the kind of Tuesday where the sun’s too bright for no reason and everyone’s just mad about it. Inside the Walmart, the fluorescent lights hummed with judgment. Linda from checkout lane 4 had already seen three coupon wars and one emotional support lizard, and it wasn’t even 10 a.m.
Over in produce, Earl “The Banana Bandit” Jenkins was at it again, taste-testing grapes like he was a sommelier of the vine. He winked at passing shoppers like they were all in on the joke. No one was.
Meanwhile, on aisle 9, Kenny and Johnny Taylor accidentally locked carts in a tense standoff between BBQ chips and potato salad. They hadn’t spoken since the incident at the dirt track last summer, but the silent rage between them was thick enough to slice with a clearance knife set.
A toddler sprinted past electronics with the energy of a caffeinated squirrel, trailed by a mom who’d just given up somewhere around automotive. Lucky from Grab n Go #6 was on his break, sipping a questionable fountain soda and watching the chaos unfold like it was his favorite reality show.
Then came the announcement over the intercom:
“Code Brown in the toy aisle.”
A hush fell over the store. Shoppers glanced at each other, uncertain if it was a biological issue or just a really bad sale. The brave few turned their carts and fled.
But through it all—through the cart crashes, the spilled pickles, and the mystery smell near aisle 14—there was something oddly comforting about it. Neighborhood Walmart wasn’t just a store. It was a living, breathing ecosystem. A place where you could run into your ex, your pastor, and a raccoon all in one trip. A place where things happened.
And that’s what made it special.”

“I wish all Ross stores were this way. First off I'm from California, got stranded in texas and happened to be by Tyler and needed clothes. The place was clean, quiet, and cool. The ladies were both beyond nice, they let me use the restroom, and when I finally reached the counter the lady with the blue hair apologized for the lady in front taking a little longer then usual do to a return that was not processing on the computer. She thanked me for being patient. One of the best customer services I ever experienced.”
“Nice and clean in there. My 1st time at this location. Young lady (white, sry dont know her name) kept sharing the new things they put out. That's nice of her. She rang us up too. We stood there a lil minute to check out but everyone was putting freight out. I can understand that. Pretty sure we will be back.”
“She did a nice job cutting hair. It had been a awhile, so I knew I needed a good conditioning,but when she told me that I need a special conditioner she didn't tell me it would cost more. It ended up costing 44 dollars more just for the conditioner. I paid 110 for for shampoo , conditioner, and trip(2 inches maybe). I was in shock and not prepared for that. And they wouldn't adjust the price. For the money and the very little that was cut off, I won't be coming back.”

“yester day I stopped in for just a few small things. There was a tornado warning and we were ordered to stop shopping and they moved us all to a safe place to wait there and wait till it was safe. The staff was very helpful and done all they could to keep us all safe and calm till the danger passed the management was well trained and keep all safe an informed. thank you to Sarah the manager & walmart for putting our safety so high and taking care in caring for everyone there at that time. “I don't have much experience with pharmacies as a customer, but I recently picked up a prescription at Walmart Pharmacy. The staff was courteous and efficient.
I was genuinely impressed by the pharmacist's thoroughness in explaining how to take the medication and the potential side effects to monitor. She was pleasant and clearly concerned about ensuring that I understood how the medication works and what side effects to expect. As someone who prescribes medications, I truly appreciate the time this Walmart pharmacist took to explain everything to me. Although I was already familiar with the medications, I refrained from interrupting her explanation because I wanted to learn how patients receive instructions from the pharmacy.
Pharmacists often face overwhelming volumes of prescriptions, and as anyone in retail can attest, providing quality, speedy service is a constant challenge. So, thank you!”
“Joshua was my technician who conducted my preventive maintenance service on my Kenmore Washer and Dryer today. I have been a loyal customer of Sears Appliance sales and repairs for many years. Joshua was super and the best ever Sears technician during my many years as a customer of Sears maintenance and repair! He was a pleasure for sure!! Joshua called me to let me know his ETA for arriving to my home in Tyler. This notification per phone was extremely helpful since I am a caregiver for my elderly mother in her home located several miles from my home. Joshua arrived on time. He was very courteous and respectful. Joshua conducted a very detailed inspection and testing of my washer and dryer. He checked the washer water hoses to make sure they were working properly and secure. .Very important to me for sure! Furthermore, Joshua cleaned out my dryer vent and secured it to the wall outlet with some extra screws. Wow! I was impressed and thankful for his genuine concern about maintaining the dryer vent safety, too! Also, the additional action to stabilize my dryer vent was impressive. I had unsuccessfully tried to have someone called to the bicycle department and flagged down Vincent who dropped what he was doing and came over to assist me. He helped me find the price of the bicycle and he aired up the tires so I could ride it home. I tried to contact someone at Target to give Vincent a positive review but no one seems to answer phones there.”
