“To Whom It May Concern, I would like to take a moment to recognize the outstanding customer service I received at the Valley Mills Drive branch on Thursday, May 14, 2026. When I arrived to open a new personal checking account, the front desk employee, Nayah, was welcoming, professional, and attentive. She kept me informed throughout the process and made sure I was taken care of as quickly as possible during a busy time at the branch. Although Damien Rodriguez was assisting another customer, I appreciated how personable and customer-focused he appeared to be with everyone in the lobby. It was clear that he values relationships with customers and takes time to provide quality service. I was ultimately assisted by Jaylin Vega, and she was extremely professional, patient, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. I explained that I was opening a new account as part of reorganizing my personal finances and beginning a fresh chapter financially. Jaylin took the time to carefully walk me through the account options, answer my questions, and make sure I fully understood everything before moving forward. I also brought in a check that I intended to deposit into the account, and Jaylin thoroughly explained the bank’s policies and procedures regarding that type of check. I genuinely appreciated how careful and detail-oriented she was. Rather than simply processing paperwork quickly, she made sure I understood the responsibilities associated with the deposit and took the time to protect both the customer and the bank by being thorough. One thing that really stood out to me was how seriously the staff took their responsibilities. Jaylin asked thoughtful questions about the account and future funding plans, which demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail. In today’s environment, it is reassuring to see banking employees who prioritize security, compliance, and customer understanding. The entire team made me feel welcomed and respected throughout the visit. As someone who works in customer service management myself, I understand how important professionalism and communication are when working with the public. Nayah, Damien Rodriguez, and Jaylin Vega represented your branch exceptionally well and deserve recognition for their excellent service. “I am amending this review to respond to what has transpired since I wrote my initial one (you can read that below, and see the response from CB&T). We had a really messy Refi process with another bank that bought out our loan from Community Bank. As a bunch of things transpired behind the scenes, it looked like every party was being stubborn and that we were losing $ in the process. In the short term, there was some truth to that—in our immediate outcomes, we did not get the “mortgage holiday” that we were planning on for two months of payments. But the problem wasn’t Community Bank, it was United Mortgage, the new mortgage lender. Thanks to Carol and Kim, who talked my husband through this messy process, maintained their professionalism, and ultimately made my husband wish we could go back. And sorry that my earlier post was not able to respond with better information. I’m still not happy with how things transpired, but it’s clearer now that the fault lies elsewhere. ****** My husband and I wanted to work with a local bank for our home loan. We thought CB&T would be great. But then we decided to refinance, and we shopped around for various loans. They have made the loan turnover AWFUL. It’s has been two months, and they STILL have not accepted the buyout of the loan from the new mortgage bank. All because CB&T sent the wrong amount! So they keep drafting our loan payments, throwing off our planned cash flow, and they will not communicate to facilitate the new mortgage we have already contracted. DO NOT TRUST THEM to do what’s best for the customer. They do what’s best for them.”

When I called , I was not told what the cut off for getting a wire transfer done before I came in, and then had to wait quite a while behind a person who is that the only teller who could do a wire transfer. It could not go out that day. I'm thinking the cut off time is three thirty , but not sure , but just wanted you to be aware.”

“I don't understand how people have bad reviews of this bank. Definitely operator error! I opened two accounts at this bank over 2 years ago and have had the best service and care imaginable. Every time I walk into the 8th street location (this is the location I go to) the employees and security guard say hello. I say hello back - maybe that's where operator error starts. Throughout my questions regarding safety deposit boxes, other account offerings, stop check requests, and even to the simple part of requesting a cashier's check, I have always had the best care here. So much so, I requested to speak to a leader of the bank last Summer to BRAG about the greatness of this bank. They don't deserve 5 stars, they deserve about 50. For as long as I live and continue to build personal wealth, I have no plans what so ever to relocate my accounts elsewhere.”
