“The people were so helpful. I shop for the month on almost everything food wise because we are a big family. The meat was at such great prices and the workers were so helpful even though we had 2 full baskets they didn't look at us mad or anything and even helped us take it to our vehicle.”
“The store is always clean. You are able to get down the aisles and find what you want. The employees are always friendly and willing to help you find what you need.”
“The pumps, availability of the window cleaning brushes and water, the trach cans are not overflowing, and although the carwash is closed frequently, when it is operational the car wash is well worth the price. It is easy to enter from Eagle Dr going south, or turning right off of the feeder road past the intersection going west.”
“I was in the store around 3pm on 3/5/21I think they were restocking as there were columns of cartons in isle but I was able to maneuver around ok. I needed help finding the gift bags and although the store employee seemed to be extremely busy she pleasantly assist me without looking annoyed that I interrupted her. I love this store they have had what I went for everytime especially during the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. The cashier is always very nice to deal with.”
“I came to this store after shopping at the Eagle Drive location. It was stocked, clean and well organized. I easily found what I was looking for. The cashier was super nice. This will be the location I visit even though the Eagle Drive location is more convenient.”
“Sam has owned that store since I was a young kid, He along with his employee's have always been super nice to my family and I growing up. Now that I have 2 boys and always frequent the place, they are getting to experience the first name basis with Sam and the employee's only with a Mr. In front of their name when they say it. ? and that small town gas station feel. Although it isn't such a small town anymore lol. Since being an adult I have and will always trade at his store. Great location and Great owners.”

“This place is great for our area. The man outside is harmless and will not rob you. People over react to people that don’t look or act like them.
If you came to shop… then do so. You are there for your business. He is there and that is his right to be just like you. Sometimes it’s hard for people to just be kind and mind your own business. I shop here a few times a week. He doesn’t bother me. He smiles and I smile back.

“This DG store is far out of the way for me, and I have to drive nearly 20 miles to get there. Still, it's worth it! While most DG stores are messy and disorganized, this one is always well-stocked and well-organized. Everything is easy to find and where it's supposed to be. Also, the employees here are always friendly, and their customer service is excellent. I will not shop at any other DG store. I highly recommend the Beach City location.”

“While I personally hate "dollar stores" due to their misleading name and front of being a discount store, this location has been clutch many times for random things. I have gone here late in the evening to pick up children's chewable Motrin and Tylenol when my kids were sick as well as shampoo and conditioner when we ran out. With this location being open until 10pm, it has been an object of convenience many times. I am willing to pay up to 25% more for items if it means a quick trip here vs. a much longer drive to HEB or Walmart. The staff here are generally polite and helpful. The selection of necessities is very good, but sometimes it is fun to wander around looking for things I didn't know I "needed". Don't expect a bargain, basically ever, however their sales are very good if you time things right and look for coupons (which I don't). I would definitely miss this store if it were to close like the other one that was close by.”

“I went to H-E-B to get my shingles vaccination today. The pharmacy staff was amazing, courteous and friendly. I had my most interaction with Yovani. Now I must say he is AWESOME! He took his time and explained the process and advised what to do if I have an adverse reaction. I am not a fan of needles or getting shots but with Yovani I didn't feel a thing and didn't realize he had finished. IfYovani is the caliber of professionals that H-E-B is producing then I am a customer for life.”

“Stopped there a couple of weeks ago. Nice selection of fresh fruit and jellies/jams. Love the dried mango with the nice kick of heat! Is all of the stuff they sell local? Probably not. Are the products a little over priced? Yea, they are. Are the proprietors working hard to make a living? YES THEY ARE! They are good, nice folks. I would rather buy from them than from a mega chain. I go past them every month and will stop again.”
