“For the most part the sales are great. Beware, if you are not a fan of patterned cloths you may want to shop elsewhere. You can however, find all the paisley, stripes, checkerboard, houndstooth, circle and square patterns here! The sales ladies are very professional and courteous.”

“What a great store! Lots of great items to shop but most importantly, the staff is amazing. They warmly welcomed us, were friendly and helpful and made sure we knew how to get around town with a map, even great recommendations for lunch. I was admiring their "hook and clamp" system they use on their earring display and the manager brought them up on the internet and showed me where to get them! Customer service and appreciation like this is hard to find these days. I HIGHLY recommend visiting The Velvet Angel when in Waxahachie, Texas. Way to show retailers "how it's done"!”

“Love-Love-Love This is such a cute salon with a laid back bohemian vibe. They sell stylish jewelry and clothing at reasonable prices, so going in to see their latest finds is always fun! (They even have a small section for plus sizes, and a dressing room) There are several stylist that work there, and every time I go in to see my stylist, the fabulous Courtney, they all seem like very nice ladies, and their customers are satisfied. They do eyelashes too. You will not be disappointed if you just pop in to shop or get your hair done!”

“Maurices is my all-time favorite place to shop! Why, you ask? Because they have the cutest, trendy but quality clothing and guess what, it actually fits! They have both Regular and Plus size for women. I will buy my jeans NOWHERE else except Maurices! Whether I'm just browsing for fun, or looking for a particular need, I've NEVER walked out empty handed! I've never encountered anything but fun, helpful staff to set you up in your own fitting room and even help me out with some outfits together. If you ever have any issues or just decide merchandise isn't for you, they have a no qualms policy and the entire staff is so very friendly! To ice the cake, definitely get a credit card because you get significant discounts as well as rewards to stack up with their already daily discounts. New stock comes in daily, I believe so it always seems there are fresh and fun styles available! Love my Maurices! Definitely not a store that will disappoint! Although I didn't understand the why they are calling it a "store closing" if they are basically changing the name at the first 2020. “I recommend this location. Simply because I had visited a few other stores a few days prior to stopping here and just couldn't find the right style pants I was looking for to complete a wedding fit. As I was browsing the district manager and store manager both helped me with exactly what I needed. Ever since Covid customer service has gone down with all types of businesses. This is one of the few store locations that I have come across genuine people. It's just nice to come across these people knowing there are still some people left working with quality customer service.”
