“What a great store! Lots of great items to shop but most importantly, the staff is amazing. They warmly welcomed us, were friendly and helpful and made sure we knew how to get around town with a map, even great recommendations for lunch. I was admiring their "hook and clamp" system they use on their earring display and the manager brought them up on the internet and showed me where to get them! Customer service and appreciation like this is hard to find these days. I HIGHLY recommend visiting The Velvet Angel when in Waxahachie, Texas. Way to show retailers "how it's done"!”

“I brought them a brand new pair of shoes to alter for the Homecoming Dance on the evening of September 30th. I explained to them that this was the situation. I paid in full up front for alterations, with a pickup/completion date of September 30th (see photo). I show up to pick up the shoes on the day of the dance and the store is closed, with a note on the door(see photo). Now, I have to go emergency shoe shopping for this dance. I paid a premium rate for alterations for no reason. This is very troubling to me, as if they knew they were going to be closed, they should have called me the day before to come and pickup the shoes. I understand that this is a small, family owned shop, but if you can't stick to your store hours, hire some part time help.I've used this store about 6 or 8 times over the years with no problems.Update 10/11/2023JD is the most honorable, stand up man I've met in a long time. Without having to explain, he took 100% accountability for the mishap and apologized. What else could I possibly want?!? He also made it right by reimbursing me the cost of the alterations, the shoes, the replacement shoes, and some! I was completely blown away. I truly believe this was just an unfortunate event that and it is not a common occurrence. I will return as a customer, should the need arise.”

“Love-Love-Love This is such a cute salon with a laid back bohemian vibe. They sell stylish jewelry and clothing at reasonable prices, so going in to see their latest finds is always fun! (They even have a small section for plus sizes, and a dressing room) There are several stylist that work there, and every time I go in to see my stylist, the fabulous Courtney, they all seem like very nice ladies, and their customers are satisfied. They do eyelashes too. You will not be disappointed if you just pop in to shop or get your hair done!”

Although I didn't understand the why they are calling it a "store closing" if they are basically changing the name at the first 2020. I was very happy to receive the 10-40% discount they are offering until the end of this year.”

“I recommend this location. Simply because I had visited a few other stores a few days prior to stopping here and just couldn't find the right style pants I was looking for to complete a wedding fit. As I was browsing the district manager and store manager both helped me with exactly what I needed. Ever since Covid customer service has gone down with all types of businesses. This is one of the few store locations that I have come across genuine people. It's just nice to come across these people knowing there are still some people left working with quality customer service.”
