“I absolutely love this super one location. The store is always clean and stocked full with products that I need. The staff is always super friendly and willing to help as well.”
“I was in town visiting family for the 4th of July weekend. I made 3 trips into the store in one day (items kept getting added to our list). I had the pleasure of meeting cashier Samantha B. (I will assume there are multiple Samantha's because other name tags didn't have a last name letter attached). I asked her how old she was because her mannerism for dealing with the difficult customer in front of me was outstanding. I for sure thought that she was older than 16 years old. She was articulate, patient, kind and helpful with them. Then came me, there was an item or two that I could not find and she directed me exactly to where it was and allowed me to run very quick to get the item I was looking for. I didn't hold anybody up in the line, I had a lot of items going through the register.Please thank her again for me. Her kindness and upbeat personality was what I needed and very much appreciated. I made sure when I had to return in the same day I found her line.Samantha B definitely has management written all over her. She is an asset to your company.”

“What in today's pick up a few items. All the produce looked fresh and there was a couple of staff members stalking and keeping the produce area clean. Went back to the meat counter and there was two workers there. They were very friendly and very helpful and I got all the meat that I needed. There's also a little restaurant that sells pre-made food, breakfast and lunch. From what I can tell. They had quite a few customers eating in so I would say that it is a good place to eat. Went to check out they had two or three checkers available. Didn't wait in line at all. Cashier was friendly and I was able to check out easily and very fast. The only negative is they do not offer a cash back when you use your debit card.”
“I go there all the time because it's so convenient and close. This store seems to struggle keeping good employees. I don't know if that's corporate fault because you don't hire people face-to-face so you never know who you're getting. Tell me how do you judge a person's personality and attitude by an Internet Application?? I have heard that once you make the actual personal interview you just about have the job.. So I take my hat off to them I think they do a great job....UPDATE.. The manager of this store has done a great job hiring, training, and keeping this location clean and top notch.”

“Wonderful Brookshires location. I'm very fond of their (hot foods section) ribs and catfish. Their catfish in particular is just as good as all the restaurants I've been to in Tyler. If you find a location that sells meat pies they are very good as well. The pies come from Lousiana and taste the same as they do in French bakeries there.”

“This is a newer Dollar general in the town I live in. One thing that's interesting is they have an area for fresh fruits and vegetables. I've never seen that in all the other Dollar generals. I've been chewing different states and the different Dollar generals here in town. It might be a new thing they're doing and that's pretty coolAs far as the staff goes, it's hit and miss. Sometimes you get really sweet, helpful staff members and sometimes you get really grumpy, not helpful staff members.The store is stocked and organized. Unlike some DGs I've been to. Location is easy to drive to, but since it's on a crazy busy street, it's hard to get in and out of their parking lot safely.”

“By far it's the best place to get food in Hawkins proper. Do wish they had healthier options, but in a town where everything is fried I guess I should not bark too much. I would prefer to buy a salad from them than from brookshire's who specializes in charging rural customers too much.”

“I'm in the process of moving in and my experience so far has been nothing less than EXCELLENT! Carla (the property manager) has gone above and beyond in communicating with me every step of the way even though I was contacting her constantly while (impatiently) waiting on my application to be approved. I'm so happy to have found such a gorgeous place to call home in Tyler!”

“The week before Christmas 2023, we stocked up for the holiday and had the best check out experience. The checker, Kirsten, was absolutely fantastic. Not only was she personable, but so efficient as she loaded our basket so carefully, not crushing any of our purchase. Her attentiveness did not slow down the checkout either. This is the only Tyler Aldi(E 323) I will buy from. Kudos to her.”
