“Brought my backflow in, dude took it apart and told me what was wrong with it. These guys are busy and there were customers coming and going the whole time. I just waited patiently for my turn and got hands on advice from a subject matter expert. This is a grade A business. They're doing lots of things right. They even have a YouTube channel.”
“City Ace Hardware is exactly the kind of neighborhood hardware store I like to support. The location is convenient, making it easy to stop by whenever I need something for a home project. The store is well organized, and I had no trouble finding what I was looking for.

“This Ace location had the product I had been looking for for over a week! No exaggeration. Lowe’s and Home Depot champion a specific type of antifungal product called Concrobium, yet none of their locations actually carry it. So I finally called this Ace location to ask if they could stock check for me and they did! And they had it in store! So I rushed down to the store and received a greeting and excellent service. I had multiple people ask me if I needed help finding anything and there were multiple employees moving up and down the aisles asking customers if they needed help.
I really don’t receive that type of customer service anymore and I don’t witness it anywhere anymore. It seems like people are so bothered to even do their job, let alone offer assistance genuinely to customers. So I wanted to write a review about how good their customer service is and how welcomed I actually felt at this location! And on top of that, the antifungal spray that I was desperate to find, worked exceedingly well! Edit: I forgot to mention this happened on August 7th at 4PM! Thanks again!!”

“It's definitely unique in the amount of different types of things, and hardware they sell. Buyer beware though, a $47 clamp here, is just under $5 at Harbor Freight! Most pricing seemed a little high, and the wire I was looking for was more expensive, so I didn't get it here. I'll go in again, but still check pricing before I buy! Friendly, helpful staff too!”

I own a plumbing company and was waiting in line at Mountainland when I saw something that deserves to be called out. A counter employee named Ronny was helping an older couple — probably late 70s. From what I could tell, they normally work with a specific salesman who wasn’t in that day, so Ronny stepped in to take care of them.
That situation isn’t unusual in this industry. What was unusual was how she handled it.
She was patient, respectful, and genuinely attentive. No rushing them, no talking down to them. I overheard her tell them she’d personally reach out to their salesman to make sure they were getting the best pricing and that she’d follow up with them herself. That kind of ownership matters.
After I checked out and was heading to my truck, I saw her again — outside, smiling and joking with the same couple while hand-loading a large amount of pipe into their trailer. No complaining, no disappearing once the sale was done. Just doing the work and treating customers right.
As a business owner, this is exactly the type of employee you want representing your company. Management should know Ronny is making Mountainland look very good, and it didn’t go unnoticed.”

And I got the exact hardware I needed for my vintage truck. Like my marker lights and my spare tire carrier mounting bolts. They even sold me washer and a nut to mount up my carrier under my truck like it was stock again. I will always shop here in the future months ahead.”

“Everyone at Stewart Electric was super kind and helpful. I’m not some big electrical contractor, just a homeowner looking for an odd part. They treated me like I was their best customer. “Brad” was very helpful and spent extra time looking for options and kept me informed on the progress of the order. So many of these suppliers don’t want to deal with you if you don’t have an account with them — Stewart gave me great service and didn’t jack up the price.
For the reviewer that complained that they didn’t have stock: these companies are specialty supply houses, essentially wholesale to the trade. They’re not Target or Home Depot and you don’t walk in and browse the aisles. But they can get you stuff that no mass market store can and often at a better price (assuming they will sell to you at all — their market is big contractors, not individuals). Which makes it all the nicer when they help a little guy out.”

“Big, big store of almost everything you need for home repair or remodel. It can be overwhelming, if like me, you have no clue about home repairs/home remodeling and or home building. It's hard to find someone to help, but when you do they seem to be knowledgeable. Many outdoor items a good selection of plants/flowers/trees/vegetables and fruit trees”
